About me and my therapy practice
Navigating Life Therapy
You might look like you’re coping, but inside you feel stretched thin - overthinking, anxious, replaying conversations in your head. You want to feel calmer, more confident, and able to trust your own voice again. Therapy can be a space to breathe, make sense of what’s yours to carry, and start feeling more like you.
I mainly work with those who feel overwhelmed, burnt out, or emotionally stuck to find clarity, calm, and a way forward. Therapy with me is gentle and grounded. You don’t need to have the right words or a neat story. Just bring yourself - as you are.
Clients often tell me they feel lighter after sessions. Not because everything’s fixed, but because they finally feel heard.
I am a warm, calm and down-to-earth person, and I'm here to help. I bring kindness, gentle humour, and a grounded presence to our sessions, because healing doesn’t have to feel clinical. All feelings are welcome and swearing is absolutely OK!
Navigate Neurodivergence
Alongside therapy, I also offer an 8 week structured programme - Navigate Neurodivergence - for people who are autistic, ADHD, AuDHD or curious about whether they might be.
I’ve spent much of my clinical work as a psychotherapist supporting neurodivergent adults - particularly those who are late-identified, burnt out, overwhelmed, or exhausted from masking.
Navigate Neurodivergence was created because I kept seeing the same gap: people leaving diagnosis (or self-identification) with insight… but very little structured support for what comes next.
It’s not a diagnostic or coaching service. And it isn’t open-ended psychotherapy - it has a clear beginning, middle and end. It’s a supportive space for the “in between” stage - providing orientation at a time when many people feel lost.
I bring both professional and personal understanding of sensory and emotional patterns, through lived experience and specialised training in Autism, ADHD & AuDHD.
Practice description
Navigating Life Therapy
We start by creating a space that feels safe - emotionally and physically. I use somatic and nervous system-informed approaches to help you feel more at ease in your body and mind.
You won’t be rushed. You won’t be analysed. You’ll be met with warmth, curiosity, and a steady presence. Always, we move at your pace.
What Therapy Can Help With:
- Feeling stuck or overwhelmed
- Anxiety, depression and burnout
- Self-esteem and self-confidence
- A quiet sense of “something’s not right”
- Difficulty making decisions or trusting yourself
- Wanting to feel calmer and more connected
- Exploring identity, meaning, and emotional patterns
- Learning to regulate your nervous system
Navigate Neurodivergence
You might have spent years feeling like you’re “too sensitive”, you can cope… until you can’t, your nervous system is always on high alert. You’ve learned to mask so well you’re not sure what’s real anymore. And now that neurodivergence is on your radar, it can feel like your whole life is being re-written. That’s a lot to hold alone.
This programme is for you if:
- you’ve recently been diagnosed (or are self-identifying)
- you feel stuck in “what now?”
- you want support that is structured, paced and clear
This structured, 8-week programme focuses on one core theme each week, with practical psychoeducation, reflection, and supportive discussion.
What we cover across the 8 week 60 min sessions:
Week 1: Making Sense of You
Week 2: Sensory Needs & The Body
Week 3: Your Nervous System & Regulation
Week 4: Executive Function & Daily Life
Week 5: Masking, Identity & Burnout
Week 6: Rejection Sensitivity, Emotions & Self Compassion
Week 7: Relationships, Needs & Boundaries
Week 8: Integration & Your Ongoing Support Plan
This programme is not for you if...
- You are looking for a diagnostic assessment
- Need open ended psychotherapy or acute crisis support
- Trauma processing is the main focus
- You want coaching or accountability work
My first session
Navigating Life Therapy
I offer a free 30 minute initial phone or online intro call to explain my approach and what counselling could look like. We can briefly talk about what has led to you seeking therapy, your current challenges and I'll ask you to share any relevant background information. We can figure out how we might work together and if you feel comfortable working with me.
There is absolutely no obligation to book any further sessions, but if we are a good fit, we can schedule your first counselling session and I will send you a working agreement. This outlines our mutual commitments, and I will ask you read, sign and return it before we meet.
Navigate Neurodivergence
I offer a free 20 minute initial phone or online intro call to chat through the programme, see if it would be suitable for you, and discuss session scheduling.
By the end of the programme, most people have:
- a clearer understanding of their neurodivergent traits
- language for their patterns (without shame)
- a sensory profile and overwhelm map
- a regulation toolkit that suits them
- a wellbeing baseline plan
- clarity about what support they want next
You’ll also receive a reflective journal to support you between sessions. It includes ND-friendly prompts, gentle check-ins, and space to track patterns, needs, and what helps - so you’re not trying to hold everything in your head.
