About me and my therapy practice
I believe that therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly without fear of judgement. My role is to walk alongside you with warmth, curiosity and compassion, helping you make sense of your experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
My work is grounded in psychodynamic psychotherapy, exploring how past experiences and relationships may continue to influence the way you think, feel and relate to others today. By understanding these patterns, we can begin to create lasting change rather than simply managing symptoms.
I take an integrative approach because every person is unique. Alongside psychodynamic therapy, I draw on person-centred counselling, CBT and trauma-informed approaches where appropriate, tailoring therapy to your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit a particular model.
I have extensive experience working with adults, children and young people, including those who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and emotional overwhelm. I also work in a neuro-affirming way, recognising and valuing individual differences while creating a space where you can feel understood and accepted.
Trauma can affect not only our thoughts and emotions but also our bodies, relationships and sense of safety. Therapy is never about rushing into painful memories. Instead, we focus on building safety, understanding your responses with compassion and developing the confidence to move forward.
Above all, I believe that the therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. Feeling heard, accepted and understood creates the foundation for healing. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers the opportunity to better understand yourself, develop new ways of coping and move towards the life you want to live.
Practice description
I offer counselling and psychotherapy for adults, children and young people, both online across the UK and in person in Enfield, North London.
My practice has a particular focus on trauma and its impact on emotional wellbeing, relationships and everyday life. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, relationship difficulties and life transitions, as well as those recovering from childhood trauma, domestic abuse, sexual violence and other relational trauma.
Alongside my trauma work, I have a special interest in supporting neurodivergent clients in a neuro-affirming way. I strive to create a space where people feel accepted, understood and able to explore their experiences without judgement.
I offer both short-term and longer-term therapy, depending on your needs, and welcome clients from all backgrounds. Whether you're looking for support through a specific difficulty or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, my practice provides a safe and compassionate space to begin that journey.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute online consultation so we can get to know each other and talk about what has brought you to therapy. It's a chance for you to ask any questions and decide whether you feel comfortable working with me.
If you're happy to go ahead, we can arrange a block of sessions at a regular weekly time and begin working together towards your goals.
