About me and my therapy practice
You may still love each other and feel exhausted by the way things are between you. Perhaps every attempt to talk ends in another argument, or you have stopped trying because the distance feels easier than the conflict.
I’m Kita Tabachka, a BACP registered integrative therapist offering online couples therapy for clients in London and across the UK, alongside individual counselling. I also work with expats and international clients.
I offer relationship counselling, including marriage counselling, for couples facing repeated arguments, trust issues, infidelity, resentment and loss of emotional or sexual intimacy. Sometimes one partner keeps trying to resolve things while the other needs to withdraw. We work to understand that pattern and find ways to speak, listen and respond differently.
I have training in the Gottman Method. My approach also considers how earlier relationships and difficult experiences shape what happens between you now. I take an active role, helping you slow difficult conversations and put words to what has been hard to explain.
I work with intercultural couples, partners adjusting to parenthood and couples navigating ADHD, different expectations or life across countries.
For individuals, I offer online counselling for anxiety, panic attacks, burnout, grief, trauma and relationship difficulties. You may be managing work and responsibilities while privately struggling to switch off, trust yourself or ask for support.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in finance, business and leadership. I understand the demands of responsibility and the pressure to appear capable. I bring that practical experience alongside warmth, curiosity and a willingness to explore difficult things with you.
You can contact me through this profile to arrange a free initial consultation.
Practice description
I work online with adults and couples. Sessions are available in English and Bulgarian.
In couples counselling, we pay attention to the moments when a conversation changes. A question begins to sound like criticism. One person feels dismissed. The other feels that nothing they say will help. Understanding these moments gives us something specific to work on.
I help you practise expressing a concern, hearing a difficult response and returning to a conversation after tension has risen. Where trust has been damaged, we explore accountability, the impact of what happened and what rebuilding trust would require.
The work also makes room for affection, friendship, intimacy and the relationship you both want. We agree priorities together and revisit them as therapy progresses.
My approach takes account of ADHD, emotional overwhelm and differences in how people process information. We can adjust the pace, use written reflections and keep exercises manageable.
Individual therapy gives us time to understand your anxiety, grief, burnout or relationship patterns in the context of your life. We explore what happens in difficult moments and agree practical steps that fit your needs.
Between couples sessions, I provide relationship tools, worksheets and shared reflections through a secure platform. We choose activities relevant to your goals and review how they worked for you.
My first session
We begin with a free consultation lasting 15 to 20 minutes. For couples therapy, I meet with both partners. You can tell me what has brought you here, ask questions and hear how I work.
If we agree to continue, I arrange an individual appointment with each partner before the ongoing couples sessions. These appointments help me learn about your upbringing, significant relationships and personal history.
Before those meetings, we discuss confidentiality and how I handle information shared individually within the couples work. I explain my no-secrets policy so you both understand the agreement.
When we meet together again, we begin mapping the difficulties you want help with and agree the priorities for therapy. You do not need to agree on every detail of the problem before we start.
If you are seeking individual counselling, your first full session focuses on what brings you now, how it affects your daily life and what you hope to change. We agree a pace and starting point together.
Send me a message through this profile with your availability to arrange the initial consultation.

About me and my therapy practice
You may be looking for help because anxiety has become exhausting, a loss has unsettled your life or your relationship no longer feels like a place where you can relax.
I’m Kita Tabachka, a BACP registered integrative therapist offering online counselling and couples therapy for clients in Poole, Bournemouth and Dorset, as well as across the UK and internationally.
In individual therapy, I support adults with anxiety, panic attacks, burnout, grief, trauma, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties. We explore what is happening in your life, how you have learned to cope and what you would like to change.
My relationship counselling and marriage counselling work supports couples facing repeated arguments, trust issues, infidelity, resentment and loss of intimacy. You may still care deeply about each other but struggle to have a conversation without one of you becoming defensive or withdrawing.
I have training in the Gottman Method and take an active role in couples sessions. We slow difficult conversations, understand what each person is trying to communicate and practise ways to respond with greater care.
I also work with ADHD, emotional overwhelm, intercultural relationships and the pressures of work, parenting or moving between countries. We can adjust the pace and use written reflections when these are helpful.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in finance, business and leadership. I understand the pressure to appear capable and how difficult it can be to make room for your own needs.
Sessions are available in English and Bulgarian. Contact me through this profile to arrange a free initial consultation.
Practice description
My practice offers online therapy for adults and couples with emotional and relationship difficulties. Online counselling allows you to attend from a private space at home. Couples can join together or from separate locations.
In individual sessions, we explore what makes life difficult now and the experiences that have shaped how you respond. This might involve anxiety, grief, exhaustion, self-doubt or patterns in your relationships.
We agree a starting point together and work at a pace you can manage. I draw on an integrative approach, including CBT-informed tools and attention to attachment and past experiences.
In couples therapy, we pay attention to how conflict begins, what happens when you feel misunderstood and how each of you tries to protect yourself. We practise expressing concerns, hearing difficult feelings and returning to a conversation after tension has risen.
Where trust has been damaged, we explore accountability and what repair would require. We also make room for friendship, affection, emotional closeness and sexual intimacy.
My approach takes account of ADHD and differences in how people process information. Clear structure, written reflections and manageable exercises can support the work.
Between couples sessions, I provide relationship tools and worksheets through a secure platform. We choose activities relevant to your goals and review how they worked for you.

About me and my therapy practice
You may get through the working day and still spend the evening replaying conversations, worrying about what comes next or feeling unable to switch off. Anxiety can take up a great deal of space while remaining almost invisible to other people.
I’m Kita Tabachka, a BACP registered integrative therapist offering online counselling for anxiety, panic attacks and burnout to adults in Manchester and across the UK. I also support people with grief, trauma, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties.
Together, we explore what happens when worry takes over, what you do to cope and which patterns may be keeping you stuck. We agree practical steps that fit your life, alongside time to understand the experiences and relationships that have shaped you.
My work takes account of ADHD, emotional overwhelm and differences in how people process information. We can adjust the pace and use written reflections when these help.
I also offer online couples therapy and relationship counselling for repeated arguments, trust issues, infidelity and loss of intimacy. I have training in the Gottman Method and actively guide difficult conversations so we can understand the pattern and practise different responses.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in finance, business and leadership. I understand responsibility, pressure and how difficult it can be to ask for help when others see you as the person who manages everything.
I work with busy professionals, parents, expats and intercultural couples. Sessions are available in English and Bulgarian.

In individual counselling, we begin with the difficulties affecting your life now. We may explore persistent worry, panic, overthinking, exhaustion, grief or the effects of difficult experiences.

My approach takes account of ADHD and emotional overwhelm. We can use clear structure, written reflections and manageable exercises.
