So, Watts Counselling? Well it is an opportunity for you to have a safe non judgmental space to talk through whatever is going on for you! I understand from personal experience that reaching out to talk to a stranger can be scary and create added feelings of fear, worry and anxiety. However, I am also aware that having a safe non-judgmental space to talk can be helpful to gain self-awareness and improve your mental wellbeing.
Supporting others with their mental well-being whilst trying to help reduce the stigma around reaching out for support is something that I am deeply passionate about and is part of the reason I initially started my counselling training.
Practice description
I practice using an integrative approach, as I believe everyone is an individual and requires different therapeutic approaches at different times in their life. My practice is trauma informed and I work collaboratively with clients, ensuring that clients have full autonomy when engaging in sessions. Afterall, no one knows you better than you!If you’re feeling stuck, lost, stressed, or unable to cope, and want to increase your self-awareness and learn about your thought and behaviour patterns in a safe, empathetic, non judgemental and confidential environment then contact me for further information.
My first session
I offer an initial free 15 minute conversation via telephone to give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
If you wish to go ahead with sessions, I will offer a contract via email for you to read, sign and return. In the first session we can complete an aims form, identifying what you may want to explore within sessions.
