About me and my therapy practice
I'm Ryan McFarlane, a qualified counsellor committed to supporting adults experiencing emotional distress or on a journey of personal growth and self-improvement.
No matter what you’re facing, I will hold a safe, supportive space where you can be heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. Whether you’re struggling with past experiences, current challenges, or simply seeking clarity and growth, together, we can explore your thoughts and emotions, uncover new perspectives and empower you to move forward with strength and self-acceptance.
We will work in collaboration, at a pace that feels safe, to develop a therapeutic approach around your needs and goals.
Some (but not all) of the common areas I work with include abuse, anxiety, bereavement, depression, identity, self-worth, loss, personal development, redundancy, relationships, self-esteem, stress, shame, trauma and issues at work.
Qualifications
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Studies

Samaritans Core Training
Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Ongoing)
