About me and my therapy practice

I offer in person and online sessions for individuals, couples and groups in Pembrokeshire, Wales. I am a qualified counsellor and trainee psychotherapist in clinical practice working creatively with a Transactional Analysis framework.

Modern life is fast paced and the systems we exist within are very demanding. Trying to keep up with the pressures we feel in our everyday lives can leave us feeling isolated, overwhelmed and like we are living in survival mode. You don’t have to do it alone. I offer warm, empathic, non judgmental support, where together, we can turn down the volume on the outer world, explore who you are and how you truly want to be living.

Together we can explore how painful thoughts, feelings and repeating patterns of behaviour you are experiencing might have their roots in the past and the ways you learned to adapt and make sense of relationships and your environment as a child. These outdated patterns are often operating outside of our awareness though you may recognise a sense of familiar outcome or repeated painful experiences. With time and care it is possible to move beyond these old ways of being.

Areas I can offer support:

Healing from trauma

Life transitions: young people transitioning to adulthood, pregnancy and birth, parenthood, peri/menopause, divorce, children leaving home, gender transition, job or income loss, relationships ending, life changing illness or surgery, living with changes in physical ability

Menstrual Cycle Awareness: how the hormonal phases of the menstrual cycle can impact the way we feel about ourselves, our relationships and being in the world. This can be very supportive when working with PMDD or gender dysphoria.

Anxiety

Depression

Feeling stuck / overwhelmed

Cycles of difficult painful feelings, negative and limiting thinking or repetitive harmful, disruptive or sabotaging behaviours

Feeling unfulfilled, lacking in purpose
