About me and my therapy practice
How I Work
Grief is not a single experience, nor does it follow a straight path. I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore your loss in your own way and at your own pace. My approach is relational and integrative, recognising that grief can affect every part of your life - emotionally, physically, and psychologically.
I understand that not everyone finds it easy to put grief into words. Where helpful, I may incorporate gentle creative approaches such as imagery, reflection, or drawing to support expression. I also recognise that grief is shaped by culture, identity, and lived experience, how we are taught to carry it, express it, or silence it. Together, we can begin to explore this with care and curiosity.
Practice description
I have spent the past six years working with Cruse Bereavement Support, supporting people through a wide range of grief experiences, including bereavement, traumatic loss, and complex emotional responses. I have also facilitated grief groups, using both talking and creative approaches to help people process and share their experiences.
My work is informed by both professional experience and personal encounters with loss, allowing me to sit alongside grief with sensitivity and respect. I also draw on understanding from Grief Works, recognising that grief is deeply individual and ever-changing.
I work not only with the loss of loved ones, but also losses of identity, home, relationships, health, or stability. At its heart, this work is about being witnessed, creating a space where, through connection, something can soften and healing can begin.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer a relational and integrative approach to couples therapy, creating a space where both partners feel heard without judgement. My work is rooted in understanding the emotional patterns that develop between you, how you may argue, withdraw, pursue, or shut down when things feel difficult. Rather than focusing on blame, we slow things down to explore what is happening beneath the surface.
I draw on person-centred and psychodynamic thinking to help uncover how past experiences, attachment wounds, and survival strategies shape the way you relate to one another today. Where helpful, I may introduce reflective or creative ways of exploring your dynamic, as well as gentle guided exercises to support awareness and emotional regulation.
Practice description
I work with couples experiencing a range of challenges, including communication difficulties, conflict, disconnection, and trust issues. Together, we explore the patterns that keep you stuck and begin to make sense of each partner’s emotional world.
The aim is not to decide who is right or wrong, but to rebuild understanding, restore emotional safety, and support more meaningful connection. Over time, this can help you relate to each other with greater openness, clarity, and compassion.
My first session
Our first session is a starting point where I will get to know you both and understand what has brought you to therapy. We will begin to explore your relationship at a pace that feels safe, with space for each of you to feel heard.
