About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Rachel, I’m a qualified Person-Centred Experiential Counsellor. That means our therapy is tailored specifically to you – your feelings, your story and your needs.
This isn’t about ‘fixing’ you. It’s about creating the right environment for you to understand yourself more fully, feel your emotions and move forward in a way that feels right for you. I work in a person centred and emotion- focused way, with you, as the client, choosing where we go. I enjoy working with metaphor and creative methods if that feels right for you.
Reaching out and looking for therapy is a courageous step to take. I can offer a warm, empathic landing place, working face to face in my peaceful garden office.
I have experience of working with adults, teenagers and children. I currently work as a school counsellor in a local High School, and I have previously worked as a counsellor at a local family-based charity and a women’s’ centre.
