About me and my therapy practice

Whoever you are and whatever your age, life can be challenging, and sometimes, we all need a little help to navigate through its ups and downs. Figuring out who you are and where you fit in the world can sometimes feel overwhelming.

I work predominantly with male clients of all ages, providing a space where they can speak openly, reflect honestly, and feel supported without judgment. Many men grow up receiving messages that discourage emotional expression or vulnerability, which can make it difficult to seek help when life becomes overwhelming. My practice is built around challenging these barriers by offering a safe, respectful, and grounded environment where men can explore their thoughts, relationships, and emotional lives at their own pace. Whether it’s anxiety, anger, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or simply a sense of feeling lost or stuck.

For many male clients, it’s not just about resolving a particular issue, it’s about learning to reconnect with parts of themselves they’ve had to hide or silence. I support this process with empathy, clarity, and challenge where needed, helping clients build emotional resilience, improve communication, and lead more authentic lives. Whether you're new to therapy or returning after time away, I offer a space where you can show up as you are and begin the work of meaningful change.

Online counselling offers a safe, convenient, and effective way to get the support you need from the comfort of your own home. A place where you can talk about anything that's on your mind. Where you're listened to, without judgment, and where your feelings are respected and kept confidential. 


Practice description

Choosing to begin counselling is a personal decision, and I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported. My approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and collaboration. I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

From the very first session, you can expect to be met with warmth and empathy. I take the time to understand who you are and not just the challenges you're facing, 

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck, we will work together to identify patterns, gain insights, and explore healthier ways of coping and living.

I believe that you are the expert of your own life. My role is not to give advice or make decisions for you, but to walk alongside you as you uncover clarity and move toward positive change. Progress in counselling looks different for everyone, and we will regularly reflect on your progress to ensure that our work together remains meaningful and effective.

My first session

I offer a free 30 minute Initial Consultation session.  It is a crucial first step in the counselling process because it helps me understand your unique needs. You complete a simple form and then we book the session. During this session, I  take the opportunity to get to know you better, discuss your current concerns, and explore your personal history in a supportive and non-judgmental way. This consultation ensures that our sessions are as effective and meaningful as possible. Hopefully this is the beginning of our journey together and is designed to help you feel comfortable and understood from the very start.
