About me and my therapy practice

I offer psychodynamic psychotherapy that works towards deep, lasting change, not just symptom relief.

My approach is to foster an environment where we can explore the complexities of your mind and develop a detailed understanding of the unconscious patterns that may be limiting your growth. Through this work, it becomes possible to expand your emotional range, allowing a greater sense of freedom, expression, and authority in your life.

I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, often navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, relationship difficulties, and questions of identity.

Whatever the problem you bring, I take a serious and collaborative approach and welcome critical feedback throughout our work.

Please visit my website for more information.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced adult psychodynamic psychotherapist working for many years in the NHS in complex needs departments, inpatient wards, and community clinics. I have treated people from diverse backgrounds and addressed a wide range of issues such as depression, anxiety, loss, trauma, identity, and relationship difficulties.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is about relationships, with yourself and others, both inside and out. It is the most theoretically developed talking therapy, with a strong evidence base. It can help alleviate symptoms such as anxiety and depression as well as lead to deep and lasting change.

My approach is to foster an environment where we can work together to better understand the complexities of your mind and the patterns that might be hindering your development. Together we can broaden your emotional range and help build resilience, creating greater freedom, expression, and authenticity in your life.

I work from my consulting room in Hackney, East London and I offer an open, reliable, safe, and confidential space. As well as my private practice, I am a psychotherapist and staff member at the award-winning Tavistock & Portman Trauma Unit, a specialist NHS psychotherapy clinic.

Please visit my website for more details.
