About me and my therapy practice
Starting therapy is a courageous step—often, we come to therapy when we feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. It could be due to stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, or difficult life transitions. My role is to support you in navigating these challenges, providing a space for clarity, healing, and growth.
I offer online integrative therapy via secure video sessions, providing flexibility for clients across the UK. My practice is fully remote, making it accessible and convenient for those who prefer the privacy of home-based therapy. I work with individuals seeking support for a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, and relationship difficulties.
Therapy is not just about understanding our thoughts—it’s about feeling and processing emotions, recognizing patterns, and working through past hurts. I help you bring unconscious thoughts and feelings into the conscious, allowing you to gain clarity and insight into the issues that may have been holding you back. My approach is client-centered, compassionate, and non-judgmental, offering a safe space for you to explore your concerns at your own pace.
In our work together, I take a gentle, yet challenging approach. I may ask questions or reflect on patterns in your behavior or emotions, helping you explore things you might not have noticed before. I also integrate somatic awareness into our sessions—sometimes, what our body says can reveal more than our words alone. Whether you are more left-brained and fact-oriented, or you feel more connected to your emotions and creativity, I tailor my approach to suit you.
Healing is a process that involves nurturing both the mind and body. Together, we will work to bring awareness to areas that need healing, supporting you on your journey toward greater emotional well-being and personal growth.
Practice description
In my therapy practice, I offer a compassionate, safe space where clients can explore their challenges, gain clarity, and reconnect with their authentic selves. My integrative approach combines Transactional Analysis (TA), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and principles of mindfulness and self-compassion.
I work with you to understand the patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how they influence your relationships and daily life. This approach is particularly helpful for those dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, or relationship difficulties. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns and work toward healthier, more compassionate ways of thinking and interacting.
Transactional Analysis (TA) helps us understand how we relate to ourselves and others by exploring the Parent, Adult, and Child aspects within us. We’ll examine how these inner voices affect your reactions and relationships, helping you develop more balanced and authentic ways of engaging with the world.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) focuses on working with different parts of yourself—whether it’s the inner critic, the wounded part, or the protector—to integrate them in a compassionate, healing way. By understanding and healing these parts, you can achieve greater self-awareness and emotional balance.
A key influence in my practice comes from Tara Brach and Rick Hanson, whose work emphasizes mindfulness, Radical Acceptance, and cultivating self-compassion. These practices support you in embracing both your strengths and vulnerabilities, laying the foundation for lasting healing and personal growth.
Many clients share that they feel deeply heard and supported, and leave our sessions feeling more equipped to navigate life’s challenges. Whether you're facing anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or personal growth, I work with you to create meaningful change and healing in a non-judgmental, empathetic space where you can rediscover your sense of self.
My first session
I offer a free 30 consultation online or telephone to help us get to know each other and discuss how therapy can support you. During this consultation, we’ll talk about your current challenges, goals for therapy, and what you hope to achieve. This is also a chance for you to ask any questions about the therapy process and to see if we’re a good fit to work together.
In the first session, we will go through a mental health assessment form to establish the foundations of our work. This will help me understand your mental health history and current concerns. We’ll also review the confidentiality agreement and go through the contract to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident with the process moving forward.
Session Rates: My session rates start from £75.00 per session, and sessions are paid weekly.

About me and my therapy practice
You may appear to be coping well on the outside — managing work, family, and responsibilities — yet inside feel anxious, overwhelmed, or quietly dissatisfied. Many people reach therapy at a point where what once worked no longer does, especially during midlife or periods of change.
You might be questioning your direction, struggling with stress or low self-esteem, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others despite outward success. Perhaps you’re tired of “pushing through” and want space to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface.
I offer a calm, confidential space where we can explore what feels stuck, unfinished, or confusing — at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy with me isn’t about quick fixes or judgement; it’s about developing insight, emotional resilience, and greater self-understanding so you can move forward with more clarity and confidence.
With over 10 years’ experience working with adults, including professionals and those navigating life transitions. I work integratively and with care, adapting our work to suit you as an individual. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear goal — we can start from where you are.
With over 10 years of experience in the NHS and leading charities across London and Kent, I provide psychotherapeutic counselling for professionals, executives, and individuals navigating complex personal and professional challenges. I work with high-achieving clients — including business leaders, creatives, and entrepreneurs — supporting those facing stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, and major life transitions.
At Healing Horizons, I offer a calm, confidential, and highly personalised therapeutic experience, combining structure with reflection to help you explore your thoughts and feelings, uncover what’s really happening beneath the surface, and reconnect with what matters most in life. Together, we can begin a thoughtful journey of insight, growth, and emotional renewal.
Practice description
At Healing Horizons, I offer one-to-one counselling and longer-term therapy, both in person in Tunbridge Wells and online, providing flexibility and accessibility from the comfort of your own space.
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic models to suit your individual needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method. I incorporate elements of:
Transactional Analysis (TA) – to explore patterns in relationships and communication
Psychodynamic Therapy – to understand how early experiences shape who you are today
Parts work (inspired by Internal Family Systems) – to help you reconnect with and heal the different aspects of yourself
I work with adults experiencing:
Relationship challenges (conflict, breakups, communication difficulties, toxic patterns)
Anxiety and panic attacks
Depression and low mood
Work-related stress, burnout, and overwhelm
Low self-esteem and confidence issues
Trauma and emotional neglect (including childhood experiences and PTSD)
Loss and bereavement (grief, identity loss, or life transitions)
Major life changes (career uncertainty, midlife reflections, redundancy, or relationship shifts)
Identity and self-discovery
My clients often describe therapy as a place where they can finally stop “holding it all together” and begin to make sense of what’s underneath. Our work goes deeper, helping you to understand, heal, and move towards a more grounded and connected sense of self. If you’re feeling stuck, anxious, or uncertain about your direction, therapy can help you find clarity, emotional balance, and a renewed sense of confidence in who you are.
My first session
When you first get in touch, you will be offered a free 30-minute consultation, either via Zoom or telephone. This relaxed conversation gives you the chance to talk about what has brought you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of how I work. It’s an opportunity to explore whether my approach feels like the right fit for you before booking a full session.
The next step is agreeing a regular weekly session slot, providing consistent, dedicated time to focus on your emotional well-being, personal growth, and the challenges you may be facing.
Your first full session is a 50-minute mental health assessment, which serves as the foundation for our work together. During this session, we will:
Explore your personal history, experiences, and current challenges
Identify the areas you would like to focus on in therapy and your goals for change
Discuss how I work and which therapeutic approach may best support you
Begin to create a framework for ongoing sessions that is tailored to your needs
The assessment session provides clarity, direction, and a supportive starting point for therapy. Each session after this lasts 50 minutes, giving you a regular space to reflect, understand patterns, and build greater self-awareness, emotional balance, and confidence in navigating both work and personal life.

Zoom Counselling – Online Therapy
I offer confidential psychotherapy sessions via Zoom for adults who prefer the flexibility of online therapy or are unable to attend in person.
Online counselling can be particularly helpful if you are managing a demanding career, balancing family life, or feeling overwhelmed and need support that fits around your schedule. Sessions take place in a private, secure online setting, allowing you to engage in therapy from the comfort of your own space.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, stress, low mood, self-esteem difficulties, relationship issues, trauma, and major life transitions. My approach is integrative and tailored to your individual needs, offering a calm, thoughtful space to reflect and gain clarity.
You don’t need to know exactly what to say or have a clear goal before starting. Zoom sessions are available for both short-term and longer-term work.
My first session
Your first session is a chance for us to begin exploring what has brought you to therapy and to see whether working together feels right for you.
There’s no need to prepare in advance or have a clear idea of what you want to talk about. Some people arrive with specific concerns, while others feel uncertain or overwhelmed — both are completely fine. We will start wherever you feel comfortable.
In the first session, I’ll invite you to talk about what’s been going on for you and may ask some gentle questions to help me understand your situation. We’ll also cover practical details and discuss how therapy might support you, without any pressure to commit beyond this initial meeting.
My approach is integrative and tailored to your individual needs. The first session isn’t an assessment or a test — it’s a confidential, supportive space to begin making sense of things at your own pace.
Sessions last 50 minutes and are available in person or online via Zoom. If you decide to continue, we can discuss whether short-term or longer-term work feels most appropriate for you.
If you’re unsure about starting therapy, that’s very common — we can take things one step at a time.
