About me and my therapy practice

As a qualified, registered and fully accredited member of BACP, I provide professional and confidential counselling in a safe and supportive environment.

I hold a Professional Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling and I am experienced in a broad range of issues (see below). I can work either short term (up to 6 weeks) or provide longer term support.

As an integrative counsellor I am able to work using a specific approach (eg CBT) or to taylor a mix of approaches to suit each client individually.

I have additional specialist training in addiction and addictive behaviour.

As a member of BACP, I adhere to the highest ethical standards.

As well as running my own private practice, I have also worked within the NHS and voluntary sectors.

I also provide professional and confidential supervision in a safe and supportive environment to qualified and trainee therapists.

About me and my therapy practice

I provide professional and confidential supervision in a safe and supportive environment. As an integrative supervisor I am able to work using a specific approach (eg CBT, or Person Centred) or with an integration of approaches to suit each supervisee individually.

I am an experienced therapist and over the past 14 years I have gained a broad range of experience working with a diverse range of clients in a variety of settings. I run a busy private practice and also work with second sector and voluntary sector organisations. In addition I offer corporate trainings as well as trauma consultancy services to public sector organisations.

My core training is in Humanistic and Integrative therapy, which offers a Person Centred relational approach alongside an integration of other modalities including Psychodynamic. Since my original training I have expanded my integration to include CBT, IFS, Solution Focussed, Cognitive Analytic and Jungian approaches. I am also a fully qualified EMDR Therapist and trauma specialist working with TFCBT, Body Work, Mindfulness and IFS approaches to resolving trauma. I have additional specialist training in addiction and addictive behaviour and I am familiar with working with individuals, couples and in group settings and with both short term and long term work.
