About me and my therapy practice
If you’re feeling uncertain, stretched thin, or caught in questions about who you are and where you’re heading, you’re not alone.
Many people reach a point where old ways of coping no longer fit, and clarity feels just out of reach. Therapy can be a place to pause and begin untangling what feels confusing or overwhelming.
In our work together, I offer a grounded space where you can:
- Develop a greater understanding of your emotions, especially during times of change or ambiguity
- Explore your identity, values, and relationships - including how you relate to yourself and others
- Build momentum toward meaningful change
I see uncertainty not as a problem to be solved, but as something that can open the door to deeper self-knowledge. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, questioning aspects of your identity, feeling different or disconnected, or simply longing for more calm and direction, we will move at a pace that feels right for you.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. Together, we’ll make sense of your experiences in depth, in a way that feels grounded, affirming, and genuinely supportive of who you are and who you’re becoming.
Practice description
I am a psychodynamic therapist working with adults and older adults, including members of the LGBTQ+ community and neurodivergent clients. My practice is inclusive and affirming, with an emphasis on relational depth and psychological understanding.
My work centres on how individuals relate to themselves and to others. I support clients exploring identity, trauma, loss, life transitions, and enduring relational patterns. I have extensive experience working with Depression, Anxiety disorders, PTSD/CPTSD, Psychosis, and the psychological impact of long-term physical health conditions.
Grounded in psychodynamic theory, our work attends to unconscious processes, early experiences, and recurring interpersonal dynamics that may be shaping present difficulties.
Therapy is reflective, exploratory, and collaborative, while also offering appropriate challenge to facilitate deeper insight and sustained change.
I work both short-term and long-term, depending on your therapeutic goals and shared needs.
My first session
Our first session provides space for us to explore what has brought you to therapy, your current challenges, and any relevant personal history. It allows us to consider our work together and identify the next best steps for you.
All sessions are held online via Zoom, allowing you to access therapy from your own chosen space.
Investment
Initial sessions are offered at a reduced rate of £45
Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes and are charged at £70.
I recognise that financial circumstances vary, and I am open to discussing fees in the first session. I hold a limited number of reduced-fee spaces for those on a lower income, aiming to work inclusively within my practice.
