About me and my therapy practice
Hi I'm Susan and if you're reading this, I'd guess that you're struggling to find a way through life's challenges. I want to acknowledge your courage in taking the first step towards change.
You may feel stuck in life; are completely overwhelmed; would like to have a better understanding of yourself and your concerns. Whatever is troubling you, I welcome the opportunity to work with you to find a place where you feel more content with life and ready to move forward with hope and clarity.
Whilst my foundations are in person-centred counselling, I believe that every person is unique and tailor sessions to suit you as an individual.
In my role as a therapist (and also me as an individual), I truly care about the wellbeing of others and will do my utmost to offer you the counselling experience where you are at the heart of the process.
I look forward hearing from you and to answering any questions you may have.
Practice description
As a dedicated counselling professional, my goal is to provide you with a supportive and non-judgemental space where you feel comfortable in exploring your concerns. I offer warmth, empathy and acceptance in a safe, calm and confidential setting.
My service provides online and telephone counselling, allowing time and space to talk through and process your concerns. You can freely express yourself and be truly heard, where you are in control of the process and feel comfortable with the pace.
My counselling background started working alongside Mind, and I have subsequently had the priviledge of counselling people with a diverse and varied range of concerns and backgrounds.
I currently support patients therapeutically within NHS cancer services. Caring for patients for over 15 years has instilled in me a strong desire to promote the wellbeing of others.
Additionally, my own personal experience of a positive therapeutic relationship has led me to, and shaped, the counselling services I feel proud and privileged to offer to others.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute introductory session to talk through the therapeutic process and give you the opportunity to ask any questions, or find out more about my services.
