About me and my therapy practice

You may be carrying the effects of something difficult that's happened to you, or feel that the way you're living isn't quite working anymore. Maybe there is a sense of being stuck, disconnected from yourself, or ready for something to change but unsure where to start.

I offer a calm, confidential space to explore what's brought you here and where you'd like to go next, at whatever pace feels right for you. Trauma doesn't always look obvious — sometimes it's a nervous system stuck on high alert, a pattern you keep repeating, or a version of yourself you had to leave behind to get by. Personal development work can look different too — a quiet sense that you want to understand yourself better, build self-trust, and figure out who you are outside the roles you've been playing.

As we get to know each other and trust develops, we can start to make sense of what's going on and work out what genuine change looks like for you.

Getting in touch can feel like a big deal, and I respect that you've made it this far. From here, we figure things out together.

Practice description

Together we'll explore what's painful or difficult and find a clearer way forward, in an approach that's warm, honest and grounded in your experience.

I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on person-centred, CBT, and solution-focused methods depending on what's useful for you. I won't pretend change is quick or linear, but I will be consistent, and I'll take what you bring to me seriously.

I am an insured and qualified counsellor with an MSc in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. Sessions are available online or by telephone, so you can have your sessions where you feel most comfortable.

You're welcome to call and discuss your options before deciding whether to book a session. You can leave a confidential message with your preferred way to be contacted, and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

My first session

I offer a free, 15-minute initial consultation to get to know one another, so you can ask questions about how we would work together and we can see if we'd be a good fit. If we decide to go ahead, we'll agree together when you'd like your sessions to begin.
