I work from a psychodynamic perspective, exploring how past experiences and unconscious patterns may shape your current thoughts, feelings, and relationships. My approach is grounded in offering a reflective, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and at your own pace.
Through my experience in both private practice and university settings, I have worked extensively with neurodiverse clients, and I am attentive to different ways of thinking, processing, and communicating. I aim to adapt the pace and focus of the work in a way that feels accessible and responsive to you.
Alongside this, my background in philosophy informs an openness to exploring broader questions around meaning, identity, and purpose, where these arise within the work.
While my foundation is psychodynamic, I work flexibly and may draw on other approaches where this supports your individual needs. Together, we may also pay attention to patterns that emerge within the therapeutic relationship, as a way of deepening understanding and supporting lasting change.
Practice description
I offer 50-minute sessions on a weekly basis, at a regular time. This consistency provides a stable and reliable space for the therapeutic work to develop over time.
At the beginning of our work, we will have an initial consultation to explore what brings you to therapy and whether we feel able to work together. This is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the process.
I offer both short-term and longer-term, open-ended therapy depending on your needs. Sessions are confidential, and I adhere to professional and ethical guidelines as set out by the BACP.
I work with both in-person and online sessions. I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations; sessions missed without sufficient notice are usually charged in full.
My first session
I offer an initial 30-minute consultation at a cost of £30. This provides an opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy, discuss your expectations, and ask any questions, both practical and about my therapeutic approach.
If we decide to continue working together, we will agree on a regular weekly time for sessions. The cost of the initial consultation will be deducted from the fee for your first full session.

About me and my therapy practice
I'm a psychodynamic psychotherapist offering a warm and supportive space to explore the experiences that have shaped you. Many of the people I work with are carrying the weight of past wounds, whether from relationships, family dynamics, or difficult life experiences, that continue to affect how they feel about themselves and the world around them.
Therapy is a space to make sense of these feelings, uncover patterns that may be holding you back, and find ways to move forward with greater clarity and self-understanding. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, meaning we explore not just the challenges you face now, but also the deeper emotions and past experiences that may be influencing them. However, I adapt my approach to suit you, ensuring that our work together is meaningful, supportive, and at a pace that feels right.
Practice description
Sessions with me are collaborative and non-judgmental. I offer a compassionate environment where you can safely explore difficult emotions and experiences. Whether you’re seeking clarity, relief, or personal growth, I will support you every step of the way.I believe that therapy should be accessible to all, regardless of financial situation, while also ensuring that my practice remains sustainable. I offer a sliding scale fee system to meet the varying needs of my clients.
• Standard Fee: £80 per 50-minute session
This is the full rate for my services.
• Concessionary Rate: £60 per 50-minute session
A limited number of lower-cost spaces are available for clients experiencing financial constraints. If affordability is a concern, please get in touch to discuss it with me.
My first session
I charge £30 for 30 minute initial consultation. Should you choose to work with me, this amount will be taken off the fee for our first session. This would be an opportunity to discuss what it is that you seek from therapy, as well as to enquire about my approach and perhaps about therapy more generally
In our first few sessions, we’ll focus on getting to know each other, exploring what’s currently happening in your life, and identifying areas you may want to work on. We’ll also discuss your expectations for therapy, whether this is your first time or you’ve had previous experience.
All sessions are confidential, and I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can feel at ease. Together, we’ll build a trusting relationship that allows us to explore what’s troubling you and develop strategies to help you navigate your challenges.
Starting therapy can feel daunting, but it’s a courageous first step toward understanding yourself and finding a way forward. I’m here to support you every step of the way
