About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrative therapist offering online therapy to adults (18+) who are trans women, sex workers, gender-diverse people, and other LGBTQIA+ adults seeking an affirming, grounded space.
My work is relational, trauma-informed, and paced with care. I’m less interested in “fixing” people and more interested in understanding how you learned to survive, what you’ve carried for a long time, and what might help you feel safer, more settled, and more connected to yourself now.
I work collaboratively and consent-led, adapting how we work to suit you. Therapy may be gentle and reflective, or more active and practical, depending on what feels supportive. I draw on person-centred therapy, inner child work, transactional analysis, relational approaches, and trauma-aware practice, always guided by your needs.
I’m attentive to power, boundaries, and lived experience, and I work with awareness of the social, cultural, and political contexts that shape our lives - particularly for trans people, sex workers, and other marginalised communities.
I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you don’t need to explain or justify who you are to be met with respect and care.
Practice description
My practice offers online therapy for adults (18+) who are navigating identity, trauma, burnout, relationships, and long periods of survival - particularly trans women, sex workers, and gender-diverse people.
Many people come to me feeling exhausted from years of coping: managing expectations, staying alert to others, or holding responsibility without enough support. Therapy can be a place to slow things down, make sense of your experiences, and begin to feel more at home in yourself.
I offer a calm, affirming space that is trans-affirming, sex-worker-affirming, kink-aware, body-positive, deeply LGBTQIA+ inclusive, and actively anti-racist. I work with an understanding of how marginalisation, stigma, and systemic pressure affect mental health and wellbeing.
I typically work with clients on a medium to long-term basis, though shorter-term work may be possible. I welcome people at any stage of identity exploration or transition, including those with complex or non-linear journeys.
My role is to walk alongside you with steadiness and care, supporting reflection, understanding, and change at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute introductory Zoom session for people considering therapy with me. This is a relaxed, no-obligation space to ask questions, talk a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, and see whether we feel like a good fit.
If you decide to continue, the first full session is a 50-minute online appointment. This session is about beginning to build safety and understanding. We’ll talk about what’s brought you here, what you’re hoping for, and anything you’d like me to be aware of. There’s no pressure to share everything at once.
I don’t use formal assessments unless they feel genuinely helpful. I work relationally, at a pace that feels supportive for your nervous system, and with care around consent, boundaries, and power.
