About me and my therapy practice
Welcome! I am an experienced counsellor and supervisor dedicated to supporting you with compassion, openness, and cultural sensitivity through life's challenges.
I practice integrative counselling, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor support to your unique needs. I believe therapy is more than just talking—it’s about discovering new ways of relating to yourself and others and finding the resilience to create meaningful change.
Our sessions move at your pace. I’ll listen with care and curiosity, offer insights when helpful, and adapt our work to what truly matters to you. Together, we work toward self-acceptance, growth, and change.
What we can explore?
- Make sense of your thoughts and emotions.
- Uncover patterns that may no longer serve you.
- Reconnect with your values and sense of agency.
- Cultivate self-compassion and resilience.
The use of the title Dr in this directory listing relates to the member’s doctorate qualification. However, this does not imply a general medical qualification.

My Expertise
Over the past two decades, I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, offering sessions in both English and Cantonese. My particular expertise includes:
- Neurodiversity: Supporting neurodivergent individuals (including ASD, ADHD, and dyslexia) in navigating identity, self-esteem, and daily challenges.
- Mental Health: Working with people experiencing concerns such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, and addictions.
- Identity & Belonging: Supporting those exploring cultural identity, belonging, or intergenerational conflict, especially clients for whom English is a second or additional language.
- Marginalisation & Trauma: Working with individuals facing marginalisation, shame, or trauma.
- LGBTQ+ Affirmation: Providing affirming counselling to LGBTQ+ clients.
"Being different" is something to respect and honor. Let's explore your feelings and navigate life's complexities!

How We Work Together
- Free Consultation A brief 20-minute phone or video call to ensure we are a good fit. If I am not the right match for your needs, I am happy to provide referrals.
- The First Session We will explore what brings you to therapy and define your goals. This is a collaborative space for us to get to know each other and begin your path toward growth.
- Frequency & Duration Sessions are 50 minutes and typically held weekly. While many clients see progress within 6 to 8 weeks, the length of therapy is entirely up to you. You maintain full control over your journey and when you wish to conclude your sessions.
