About me and my therapy practice
I'm an experienced psychodynamic therapist specialising in anxiety, men’s issues, depression and grief. I help people who seem fine on the outside but feel overwhelmed inside to make sense of what they're carrying and create lasting change.
I’m here to help you make sense of your story - the questions that keep circling in your mind: Why do I feel like this? Why does this pattern keep showing up? Why does this always seem to happen to me?
Many of the people I work with are carrying more than they let on. They look like they’re coping, but inside they feel overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected. You might recognise that feeling - holding everything together on the outside while privately wondering what’s going on beneath the surface.
Our work is about slowing down, noticing what’s happening inside you and understanding the emotional patterns that shape your life. Not in a clinical or distant way, but through a steady, thoughtful relationship where you feel genuinely seen and understood.
Whatever you’re carrying - anxiety, low mood, grief, old wounds, repeating relationship patterns or a sense that something just isn’t right - you don’t have to hold it alone. Together, we’ll explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion, so you can reconnect with yourself and move forward in a way that feels grounded and real.
When we meet, the space is yours: your pace, your story, your time to breathe and reflect. A place where you can speak freely without having to perform or manage anything.
I offer sessions online and in person in N2 (East Finchley) and N3 (Finchley Central).
Practice description
I work psychodynamically; helping you to work through whatever's going on for you - consciously or unconsciously. The relationship between us will be paramount in helping you to cope with whatever's troubling you.
You have to find a therapist who you connect with and feel comfortable sharing your thoughts with. I offer a warm, relaxed, non-judgemental space in which you can share your feelings at whatever pace and however you feel comfortable doing so.
My first session
I offer a free online consultation (around 20 minutes) to answer any immediate questions and then a longer first session to fully understand what has brought you to therapy. After that, each weekly session will be 50 minutes.
