I offer face-to-face, telephone and online sessions during the day and evenings, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified counsellor to degree level working with children, young people and adults. I work with an integrative approach, which means I utilise different theories, skills and techniques, which will help us to understand and work through your difficulties that are tailored to your unique needs.
My private practice is based at my home in a separate building at the end of my garden. It is a warm and welcoming space that provides privacy and confidentiality.
I have a special interest in working with neurodivergent clients and I have lived experience in Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia. The core of what I do is to support my clients emotionally as well as using practical techniques to help them better understand themselves, this can empower the client to gain a stronger sense of self-awareness as well as manage their daily lives more effectively.
I have had the privilege of working with a range of clients from children to adults from diverse backgrounds. I have volunteered within a local counselling service for 1 ½ years, supporting adults with a vast range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, confidence, relationship issues, family issues, domestic violence, ADHD, Autism, trauma, personality disorders, and suicide ideation.
I have trained at Place2be within a primary school located in London for 1 ½ years, supporting children with a range of difficulties including ADHD, Autism, anxiety, low mood, trauma, self-esteem, emotional difficulties, behavioural issues, friendship issues, bullying, domestic violence, and abuse.
I have undertaken CPD training including neurodiversity; ADHD and Autism. Trauma, sensory and physical needs, creative play, sand tray work, working creatively with emotions, working with attachment, drama triangle, safeguarding children, children’s mental health, diversity, self-harm and suicide ideation. I am committed to continual professional development and regularly attend training to enhance my knowledge and skills.
Practice description
My private practice is based at my home in Romford, there is free parking and good transport links. I also work from Gidea Park, where there is both free and paid parking. There are also good transport links (Gidea Park station is just across the road).
Sessions are for 50 minutes and can take place weekly, bi-weekly or as and when needed.
Face-to-face sessions take place in my therapy room, situated at the end of my garden with back access to ensure confidentiality. It is a quiet and comfortable space for you to talk and work on anything you need to.
Online and telephone sessions also take place within my therapy room, maintaining confidentiality.
I can work creatively with children and young people in a supportive and engaging environment, this helps them to express themselves, process emotions and develop coping skills to meet their unique needs. This builds trust and rapport, ensuring they feel safe and understood.
I can also work creatively with adults; this allows us to work with the unconscious, which can support a deeper understanding of your emotions and improve your well-being.
I am passionate about my work and how my clients receive the best possible experience when working with me.
I support clients with a range of issues in an accepting and non-judgemental way. Perhaps you are struggling with past experiences, facing new difficulties or day-to-day life challenges. Do you feel misunderstood or struggle to understand who you are now and what you want in life? Working through these issues can help you discover why you feel the way you do and help you to accept certain aspects of yourself and your life. This will help you to make positive changes in your life.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and we can struggle to make sense of our world as processing this alone can be difficult. Friends and family can be a great source of support and solace, but having impartial support can help us to be more open about our difficulties and we can gain new perspectives.

I understand it takes courage to take the first step. I believe having a connection with your counsellor is essential to the therapeutic relationship and your journey of self-discovery. I offer a free 20-minute telephone call or online consultation. This will help me identify your needs, see how I can support you, and you can see if I’m the right counsellor for you. If this feels right for you, we can then arrange our first session.
Our first session would start with finding out more about you, together we would complete a brief assessment form and talk about how we can work collaboratively. This will guide me in finding the most effective way I can support you.
Sometimes we’re not sure how to articulate what is going on for us or how we are feeling, I will be there to guide and support you; you don’t have to face anything alone.
Counselling gives you a space, just for you where you will be able to share your experiences. Past experiences can sometimes unconsciously affect our present, together we can process them, providing you with more clarity and understanding.
