About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I'm Hayley. I'm a friendly, down to earth therapist based in York.
There might be something specific you're struggling with, or changes you want to make in your life, or maybe you just want to understand yourself better. Whatever it is, I'm here to support you.
I'll help you explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences and struggles at your own pace. My passion is helping people connect with their true selves and create happier lives.
I also have particular experience of supporting women who have experienced abuse and trauma.
Practice description
I'm a caring and curious person who always sees the best in people.
My aim is to build a therapeutic relationship where you feel accepted, understood, and safe to share anything.
I hope that through our sessions you'll gain more self-awareness, heal from past experiences and be able to make choices in your life that create more peace and happiness.
I've done additional training & qualifications in trauma, breathwork, therapeutic storytelling, bibliotherapy and somatic therapy. I'm always happy to share ideas, insights and tools if you want them.
My first session
I know how important it is to find the right therapist, and I offer a free 15 minute phone call so you can see how you feel with me. We'll talk about what you'd like to get from therapy, and I can answer any questions you have about how I work.
If you decide you'd like to start therapy with me, we'll arrange our first session.
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes and can be weekly or bi-weekly.
