About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome to my profile page. I am an integrative counsellor and offer both in person and online therapy.

Perhaps you are looking for help and support with a specific life, work or relationship challenge, perhaps you are feeling anxious, depressed or stuck in some way, perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed and don’t really know how counselling might help. Maybe you simply need a space to be seen, heard, understood and validated.

Whatever has prompted you to look for a counsellor, I offer a compassionate space where you can process and explore what you need to with non-judgemental and empathetic support.

I would be happy to answer any questions (see contact details for to send an email). I also offer a free initial consultation.

Practice description

My approach to therapy is relational. This means that I value and pay attention to the developing therapeutic relationship. This provides the foundation for how our work develops and is an important factor in creating a space which feels supportive and safe.

I have a diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy. I have worked in alcohol counselling services using a harm reduction approach, an LGBT mental health service, and a community mental health charity.

I aim to work in a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed and anti-oppressive way.

I provide a warm, respectful and welcoming space for you to bring whatever you need, however you need to bring it. By holding an attitude of gentle curiosity that invites reflection and exploration, I aim to support you in the therapeutic process without being intrusive or demanding.

My first session

I offer a free initial online consultation (up to 30 minutes) which will provide an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little bit, and look at what you would like to get from therapy and how we might work together.
