About me and my therapy practice
Hi there, I'm Jonathan, a very warm welcome to you.
Life can feel heavy at times, but you don’t have to carry it alone. I provide a safe, calm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space to help you navigate life’s challenges, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you're seeking clarity, healing, or personal growth, I’m here to support you.
I am a Level 7 (MSc) qualified person-centred psychotherapist, I specialise in working with adults (18+), offering a welcoming and calming space for self-exploration, healing, and growth. While my core approach is rooted in person-centred therapy, I draw from a variety of therapeutic techniques to create a tailored experience that fits your unique needs.
I believe that your journey of self-discovery and healing is deeply personal. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support and understanding, to help you navigate challenges and embrace meaningful change.
I can personally relate to life feeling overwhelming, confusing, and difficult to navigate. Therapy gave me a platform to find clarity, understanding, and a sense of peace with my circumstances and who I am as a person in this world and that is my hope and want for your life. At the heart of person-centred counselling is a simple yet profound belief: you are the expert on your own life, and within you lies the capacity for change, growth, and self-discovery. Together then, we will explore your thoughts and feelings at your pace, empowering you to navigate challenges and embrace your authentic self.
Why not begin your journey today and take the steps toward the life you envision?
Practice description
Starting Therapy
Reaching out for therapy can be a big step and shows real courage. Whether you’re feeling low, stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, have signs of depression, or just need a place to offload your circumstances, therapy is a safe space to explore and work through these feelings. It’s a chance to take care of yourself and focus wholly on your well-being.

What You Can Expect
In our sessions, you’ll find a supportive, non-judgmental, and empathetic space to talk about what’s on your mind. Whether it’s past experiences, present challenges, or a feeling of being stuck, we’ll work together to make sense of your journey. Therapy is about helping you grow, understand yourself better, and find your way forward.
---
Feeling Unsure?
It’s normal to feel hesitant or wonder if therapy will help. While it takes time and commitment, therapy can be life-changing — helping you uncover clarity, build resilience, and rediscover (or discover) your strengths.
My first session
I offer a free 30 minute initial counselling welcome call. We’ll take some time to explore what’s brought you to therapy and what you’d like to achieve. This is also a chance for you to ask questions, learn about how I work, and see if we feel like a good fit for each other. The call is warm, informal, and focused on making sure you feel comfortable and supported as you take this first step toward positive change.
