I currently have availability for new clients, including some evening appointments.

I offer weekly in-person counselling in central London and London Bridge, as well as online sessions via Zoom.

If you’d like to see whether we’re a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation. This is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have, talk about what you're looking for and get a sense of how we might work together.

About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Vincent. I'm a gay, person-centred counsellor offering LGBTQ+-affirmative therapy for LGBTQIA+ people, as well as their families, friends and allies. I also welcome clients from all backgrounds and identities.

I believe we all have the capacity for growth and change, especially when we feel heard, accepted and understood. My role is to offer a warm, supportive, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences openly and discover what feels right for you.

You may be experiencing anxiety or low mood, struggling with relationship difficulties, exploring questions around sexuality or identity, or simply feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure about what you want. Whatever brings you to counselling, we'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you, with you at the centre of the work.

I understand from personal experience that starting therapy can feel daunting, particularly if you’re unsure what to expect. If you'd like to see whether we're a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute initial consultation where you can ask questions and get a sense of how we might work together.

Practice description

I’m a registered member of the BACP (MBACP) and a qualified person-centred counsellor. My approach is client-led, which means our sessions will focus on what feels important to you and what you would like to explore.

You’ll have the space to talk openly about whatever is happening in your life, explore your thoughts and feelings, and develop a greater understanding of yourself and what you need. I won’t judge you or tell you how you should feel. Instead, we’ll work together in a way that respects your experiences, choices and individuality.

I've worked with clients from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, ages, sexual orientations and gender identities. My experience also includes working within a community counselling service and a low-cost online counselling service specialising in addiction and recovery.

My continuing professional development has included training in working with anger, substance misuse, anti-fat bias, suicide prevention, gender identity and LGBTQIA+-affirmative practice.

I offer 50-minute sessions both online via Zoom (£80) and in-person (£100).

My first session

Our first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know each other and for you to talk about what has brought you to counselling. There’s no pressure to tell me everything at once – we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

You might already have a clear idea of what you’d like to explore, or you may simply know that something doesn’t feel right. Either is absolutely fine. As a person-centred counsellor, I’ll follow your lead and give you the space to talk about whatever feels important to you.

I have experience supporting clients with a wide range of issues, including:

• Anxiety and low mood

• Self-esteem and confidence

• Relationships and family difficulties

• LGBTQIA+ issues, sexuality and identity

• Loneliness and loss

• Shame and self-worth

• Anger

• Trauma and abuse

• Addiction and recovery

• Work-related difficulties

• Health concerns

• Feeling stuck, overwhelmed or unsure

Most importantly, the first session is a chance for you to experience what it feels like to work with me and begin to decide whether counselling with me feels right for you.
