Availability

I currently have availability for new clients, with sessions offered online and in person in Peckham, South East London.

My working hours vary slightly depending on existing clinical commitments, but I usually offer appointments during:

- Weekday daytime

- Early evening hours

Availability can change, so please contact me to discuss current session times.

Where possible, I aim to offer a regular weekly appointment time, as this helps provide consistency and a clear frame for the therapy.

Fortnightly sessions may be considered where clinically appropriate, although weekly therapy is usually recommended when the work is more active, complex, or emotionally demanding.

If I am due to take planned leave, I will let clients know in advance and discuss any relevant arrangements as part of our work together.

If my practice is full when you enquire, I can let you know whether a suitable space is likely to become available or whether another service may be more appropriate.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer depth-oriented psychotherapy for adults who may appearcapable and composed on the outside while privately feeling anxious, depleted, emotionally shut down, highly self-critical or caught in recurring patterns.

You may understand a great deal about yourself already, yet find that insight alone has not changed how you feel or respond. Previous therapy may also have felt too passive, overly technique-led or disconnected from the deeper meaning of your experience.

My work is integrative, bringing together psychodynamic psychotherapy, DBT-informed skills, somatic awareness and trauma-informed practice. This allows us to explore the origins of a difficulty while also attending to present emotional states, body responses and the choices available to you now.

I am the founder of the Open Mind Method, an evidence-informed framework organised around four connected areas:

Psyche — memories, relationships, conflicts and patterns shaped by the past.

Soma — present emotions, bodily experience and nervous-system states.

Agency — boundaries, communication, skills, responsibility and intentional choice.

Integration — connecting these areas so that insight can support practical change.

The intended outcome is an Open Mind: an internal map with enough coherence, safety and spaciousness to allow more flexible choice.

I work with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, shame, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, grief, identity stress, emotional overwhelm or shutdown and trauma-related distress.

My practice is neurodivergence-informed and GSRD-affirming. I welcome LGBTQ+ clients and people exploring sexuality, kink, non-monogamy and different relationship structures.

Practice description

Open Mind Therapy is a specialist psychotherapy practice foradults seeking more than symptom management or surface-level advice.

The work is calm, collaborative and purposeful. Sessions provide space to understand what has shaped you, recognise what is happening emotionally and physically in the present, and develop greater agency in relationships, work and everyday life.

Therapy may be focused or open-ended, depending on what brings you and what we agree following assessment. Sessions are available online and in person in Peckham, South East London, in English, Spanish, French, Dutch and Portuguese.

My first session

The first therapy session is normally a 90-minute assessment, charged at £150.

This gives us time to understand what has brought you to therapy, your relevant history, current emotional and bodily experience, previous support, what you would like to change and whether my approach is suitable for you.

We will begin to consider your situation across Psyche, Soma, Agency and Integration, while keeping the conversation grounded in your immediate concerns.

The assessment is not a commitment to continue. It is a careful first step in which we can both consider suitability, pacing, frequency and the kind of therapeutic work that may be most helpful.
