I currently have availability within my practice on the following days:

Tuesday – 12pm until 8pm

Wednesday – 10am until 1pm

Thursday – 10am until 1pm

Friday – 9am until 8pm

I aim to offer flexible appointment times within these hours where possible. Evening availability on Tuesdays and Fridays allows for clients who may need sessions outside of standard working hours, while morning and midday appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays can suit those with daytime flexibility.

If you are unsure which time would work best for you, please feel free to get in touch and we can discuss options. I will always do my best to accommodate your needs within my listed availability.

If I plan to take any time off, this will be communicated in advance to ensure continuity of care and allow time to arrange alternative appointments if needed.

About me and my therapy practice

I work using both person-centred and psychodynamic approaches to therapy. In simple terms, this means I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, while also helping you explore how past experiences and relationships may be affecting how you feel and respond today.

I believe that everyone is different, so I don’t take a “one size fits all” approach. I adapt how I work depending on you, your needs and what feels most helpful. Some people want a calm space to talk and feel truly heard. Others may want to look more deeply at patterns in their life or explore difficult feelings with a little more guidance. We will work together at a pace that feels right for you.

Sometimes it can be hard to put feelings into words. When it feels appropriate, I may offer creative ways of working, such as using cards, visual prompts, buttons or simple art materials to help explore thoughts and emotions. These tools are always optional and used gently and respectfully.
Above all, I aim to build a trusting relationship where you feel safe, accepted and understood. Therapy is your space, and my role is to support you in making sense of your experiences and finding a way forward that feels right for you.

Practice description

I work from a comfortable and welcoming building designed to offer a calm, private space for therapy. There are several therapy rooms available within the building, allowing flexibility and ensuring sessions take place in a quiet and confidential environment.
A wheelchair accessible room is available within the building, making the space accessible for clients with mobility needs. If you require this room, please let me know when booking so I can ensure it is arranged for your session.
The building is professional yet relaxed, helping to create a setting where you can feel at ease. My aim is to provide a safe, inclusive space where everyone feels welcome and respected.
If you have any specific accessibility requirements or questions about the space, please feel free to get in touch before your first appointment.

My first session

Free Telephone Consultation

I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation for all new individual clients. Finding the right therapist is a personal process, and this brief call allows us to meet informally, discuss what you are looking for, and determine if my approach is the right fit for your needs. There is no obligation to book further sessions following this call.

What to Expect in Our First Session

Entering therapy can feel like a big step, so I aim to make our first session as comfortable and transparent as possible.

In this initial 50-minute session, we will:

  • Discuss Your Goals: We’ll explore what has brought you to therapy at this time and what you hope to achieve or change.
  • Background & History: I will ask some gentle questions to understand your history and current circumstances, helping me to build a fuller picture of your experiences.
  • Working Agreement: We will briefly cover the "housekeeping" details, such as confidentiality, session frequency, and any questions you may have about the therapeutic process.
  • Next Steps: We will collaborate on a plan for our work together, ensuring you feel heard and supported from the very beginning.

My goal for this first meeting is to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can begin to share your story at a pace that feels right for you.
