I offer sessions online and in-person throughout the day and evenings on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
In person sessions are currently held in Shoreditch and Peckham.
I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, and it’s important you find a therapist that is right for you. You’re welcome to get in touch for a free 20-minute introductory call to ask any questions you may have, I can share a little more about my approach, and this gives a chance for you to feel how it might be to work with me.
There’s no obligation to continue after this. What matters most is that you find a therapist who you feel is best placed to support you on this journey.
About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of approaches, allowing me to adapt to what feels most helpful for you in the moment. My work is grounded in person-centred principles — I truly believe you are the expert in your own life and have the capacity for inner growth, and I aim to create a space where that can emerge naturally.
Whatever brings you to therapy, whether you are new to the process or have had therapy before, I place the therapeutic relationship at the heart of our work together and this provides a secure foundation for us to explore what matters most for you.
In my experience as a therapist, providing a space where you can feel genuinely heard and accepted, free from judgement, creates the safety to reflect on your situation — leading to greater awareness and understanding of your experiences. I have regularly witnessed how this insight helps people connect with themselves in a more compassionate and accepting way.
I recognise that we live in a world that can feel fast-moving and full of pressure and expectations. I am dedicated to offering a safe and welcoming space where you can take time for yourself. Many clients notice that this can improve levels of self awareness, supporting them to live in a way that feels authentic and aligned with who they are, with an increased level of trust in their own choices.
Practice description
I began my career in frontline safeguarding roles, supporting individuals with complex and diverse needs, including several years working in homeless services. Being in these roles demonstrated to me the genuine impact of human connection and the benefits that come when individuals are given the opportunity to be heard. These experiences, combined with my own challenges with my mental health in the past, inspired my decision to become a therapist. I continue to be motivated by the resilience and inner strength I see in people, even in the most challenging situations.
I am a trained Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist, having completed my Master’s degree with distinction. My training has given me the tools to work with a wide range of challenges, and my own lived experience has deepened my understanding of how challenging life can become, as well as what it is like to be a client in the therapy process.
I have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, addiction, low self-worth, identity issues, bereavement, and relationship difficulties.
You may come to therapy with a clear sense of what you want to explore, or you may simply know that something doesn’t feel right — both are completely welcome, and we can work together to understand whatever you are experiencing.
The main modalities I draw from include Person-Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based approaches.
This range of training means I have the skills to work with a wide variety of presenting needs, helping you work with the areas you feel are most important.
My first session
The first session we have is designed to help you feel at ease in the process and for us to begin developing a therapeutic relationship together. Although there is no set structure to this session, below is a general outline for how this may look:
Get a feel for how sessions work
Together, we can explore what therapy might look like for you and start creating an environment where you feel comfortable and supported.
Discuss practicalities
We can establish a working agreement that covers the structure of sessions, your expectations, and any questions you may have. This can also include setting review points, so that our time together stays meaningful and supportive for you.
Explore what brings you to therapy
If you feel comfortable, you can begin sharing what has led you to seek therapy and how it may be affecting your life. There’s no pressure here , I will be led by what feels right for you.
Consider goals and expectations
If you have specific goals, we can begin to explore these. If you’re unsure, that’s completely okay — we can focus simply on what feels most important in the moment.
Plan how to move forward
As an integrative therapist, I draw from different approaches depending on what feels helpful for you. Together, we can start to consider the ways forward that might best support your needs and experience.
