About me and my therapy practice

Hi there. If you’re reading this, you might be feeling a bit overwhelmed, stuck, or perhaps just alone with your thoughts. I know that reaching out to a therapist can feel like a big, daunting step, but please know that it’s also a wonderful act of kindness toward yourself. I’m here to offer you a soft place to land—a safe, confidential space where you can simply be yourself, without any fear of judgment.

My way of working is all about our connection. I truly believe that you have the inner strength to heal and grow; sometimes, you just need a warm, empathetic person to sit with you while you find your way. Together, we’ll gently explore what’s on your mind and heart. My goal is to help you find a sense of peace and a clearer path forward, empowering you to rediscover your own resilience and confidence.

Practice description

I am a humanistic counsellor, which means I put you at the heart of everything we do. I don't see you as a set of symptoms to be fixed, but as a unique person with a story worth hearing. I welcome everyone with open arms, no matter your background, identity, or what you’re walking through right now.

My practice is about more than just talking; it's about helping you build a "toolkit" for life. Whether you're navigating a specific life change—like the end of a relationship, a loss, or a career shift—or you’re struggling with those heavy feelings of anxiety and low self-esteem, we can work through it together.

Along with regular weekly sessions, I also offer Single Session Therapy. This is a great option if you have one specific worry on your mind and want a focused, one-off conversation to help you find some immediate clarity and a way forward.

My first session

Choosing a therapist is a very personal decision. Think of it like finding the right pair of shoes for a long walk—you need to feel supported and comfortable from the very first step to enjoy the journey. To help you decide if I’m the right fit for you, I offer a free, no-pressure introductory chat. It’s just a chance for us to say hello, for you to tell me a little bit about what’s going on, and for you to see if you feel at ease talking with me.

In our first full session, we’ll talk about what you’re hoping for. We can decide together if you’d like to meet just once for a focused session, or if you’d prefer the comfort of meeting regularly for a while. There’s never any pressure to commit to a long journey; we’ll go at your pace.
