About me and my therapy practice

Many of the people I work with describe feeling stuck, not quite themselves, or unsure how to move forward. Often, they’ve spent years being there for others - explicitly or implicitly - holding it all together, while quietly feeling disconnected inside. If that resonates with you, you're not alone—and it makes sense.

I offer a space where you can begin to gently turn toward yourself. My approach draws on psychodynamic, person-centred, and existential traditions. That means we might explore the emotional patterns rooted in early relationships—especially the ones where your needs may not have been fully seen or met. These early experiences often shape how we relate to ourselves, our emotions, and the people in our lives today.

But we’ll go at your pace. I believe healing happens not through advice or fixing, but through a relationship that feels safe, honest, and respectful of your unique rhythm. I won't try to fit you into a diagnosis or a box. Instead, I’ll be alongside you—curious about your inner world, supportive of your choices, and attentive to what feels meaningful for you.

Existentially, I’m interested in questions of identity, meaning, and the life you want to live—not just how to cope, but how to feel more alive, connected, and grounded in who you are.

Therapy isn’t about becoming someone else. It’s about coming home to yourself. 

Practice description

In our sessions, I’ll invite you to speak freely—about whatever feels most present, even if that’s “I don’t know what I’m feeling.” You don’t need to have it all figured out. Part of our work is gently untangling the internal noise to hear your own voice more clearly.

You might find that I ask thoughtful questions or draw your attention to something you’ve said or felt—especially where emotion lingers just under the surface. Sometimes we’ll explore recurring patterns in your relationships or how you relate to yourself. Other times, we’ll sit with a feeling that’s hard to name. I’ll be there with you in all of it.

I’m not here to judge, give advice, or push for change—but to help you understand yourself more deeply and relate to your feelings with more compassion.

Over time, clients often describe feeling more grounded, less caught in self-doubt, and more able to navigate life from a place of clarity and care.
