About me and my therapy practice
I am an integrative counsellor, and also have many years experience working with Children, Young People and Adults who have suffered trauma, abuse and neglect with my BAHons in social work and BSc in Specialist Childcare along with Level 1 Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy for Children and Families.
I am passionate in supporting my clients in their journey to emotional wellness and work in a none judgmental way, helping my clients by drawing on a range of methodologies in a tailored approach to each clients individual needs considering my clients goals and progress. I trained within an NHS based Institute, in the therapeutic approaches of Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive and Existential approaches.
I fully support holistic growth and deeper understanding having worked with Parents and Children who have suffered trauma. I also have experience working with 11 to 18 year olds in a school setting as a mental health practitioner and counsellor.
I work with a number of issues including, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, compulsive behaviours, loss and grief, self-esteem, self harm and injury and trauma.
My aim is to provide a safe, non-judgemental space for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace, to help them heal from emotional wounds, and to develop resilience and strategies to support their daily lives.

My first session
Making the step into counselling can often feel like a daunting experience, I therefore aim to put my clients at ease from the first session making it as comfortable as possible. I will explore what brought my client to seek the support I can offer.
Through a series of questions we will discuss your needs and will work collaboratively to formulate a tailored plan that aligns with your needs and specific goals. This initial session will be charged at the usual rate and will take 55 minutes.
