About me and my therapy practice

If you’re going through a challenging time I offer a safe space to be heard and supported. I specialise in supporting people with chronic illness, but I offer counselling for a range of issues including bereavement, stress, anxiety, depression, low mood, relationship or family issues.

I understand that every experience is individual & unique. If you’re going through a tough time taking that first step can be hard, but when you’re ready, I’m here to offer support without judgement. 

Practice description

I am a qualified person centred counsellor offering the following:

  • Face to face counselling from a therapy room in Wheldrake, York with free parking.
  • Walk & talk therapy: ideal if you struggle with maintaining eye contact, clinical settings or enjoy being outdoors. 
  • Online counselling anywhere in the UK and ideal for fitting around busy lives.

You can expect a warm, relaxed, non-judgemental space to share what is on your mind. 

My background is over 20 years working within the charity sector advocating for adults and families affected by chronic illness. I have offered counselling support within a well-known Mental Health charity, worked with Higher Education students in an agricultural college and within a NHS GP Medical Group. 

My first session

I offer a FREE 15 minute introduction call so you can get a sense of how we might work together and ask me any questions.

  • Online session is £50. (Online concessionary rate is £45) 
  • Face to Face session is £60
  • Walk & Talk session is £60. 

Payments are required before each session via bank transfer or Paypal
