About me and my therapy practice
I am a CBT therapist who draws on techniques informed by other therapies as appropriate, so you receive a personalised experience, based on what you need.
I have a particular interest in working with people who want to feel more confident, feel happier and overall feel positive about their life. This could be working on issues such as low self-esteem, depression, anxiety or trauma - or even a mix of these.
I believe that no issue is too 'trivial' or too 'bad' to reach out about. Whether you're looking for strategies to help in the here and now, or you'd like to go make sense of the past, we can tailor our sessions to fit your needs.
We can work together to understand more about what is going on for you, introduce tools for change and how you can maintain this change for the future.
Online sessions - £50
In person sessions - £65

I run a women's therapy group for self-esteem in Glasgow. What you can expect:
👭 A place where women can come together in a safe & supportive space. An opportunity to learn more about yourself & connect with other women who experience similar challenges.
🙋🏼♀️This group is for women who doubt themselves & their abilities, experience self-blame and find themselves plagued with self-criticism.
💃During the group you will learn how to become more self-compassionate. Our aim is to help you become aware of your own unique strengths, challenge any unhelpful thoughts & help you create an overall more balanced self-image, leading to more confidence and healthy self-esteem.

My first session
Prior to our first session, I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation to discuss your needs and so you can get a feel of whether I'm the right therapist for you. This call allows me to understand a bit more about what you're looking for support with to see if it's something I have experience in and can work with. It also allows you to ask any questions you may have.
In our first session, there would be space for you to expand on the reasons you're attending therapy and explore what you hope to gain from counselling. We would discuss a therapy contract which outlines our expectations of each other moving forward. There may be some self-assessment questionnaires for you to complete, which provides a tangible way of measuring progress as we move through therapy.

About me and my therapy practice
Trauma-informed therapy for anxiety, low mood, depression & low self-esteem.
Many people I work with do not initially describe their experiences as trauma.
Instead, they feel anxious, low, or stuck. They may overthink, people please, shut down, or be very hard on themselves. On the outside they are coping, but underneath something does not feel right.
Often these patterns developed for a reason. At one point they may have helped you get through difficult or overwhelming experiences. Now they may be keeping you stuck.
I offer trauma informed therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.
This can include constant worry, feeling flat or disconnected, low confidence, difficulty setting boundaries, relationship patterns that repeat, or a strong inner critic.
You do not need to talk about traumatic events in depth for this work to be helpful.
My approach is integrative. Alongside CBT, I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
IFS helps us understand different parts of you, especially when it feels like there is an internal struggle.
CPT is a more structured approach for working with PTSD or C-PTSD that helps you process experiences and shift the beliefs that keep you stuck.
We work at a pace that feels manageable. You are always in control of what you share and you do not need to go into detail about past experiences unless you want to.
I offer a supportive but active space. I will help you understand your patterns, learn practical tools, and build a more balanced and compassionate relationship with yourself.
If you are unsure, you are welcome to get in touch for an initial consultation.
I believe that no issue is too 'trivial' or too 'bad' to reach out about. Whether you're looking for strategies to help in the here and now, or you'd like to go make sense of the past, we can tailor our sessions to fit your needs.
