Availability

I currently have availability within my practice.

My working hours are Monday to Sunday from 0800 - 2000.

About me and my therapy practice

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to figure things out alone. I provide a warm, safe, and completely judgment-free space where we can work through whatever is weighing you down at your own pace.

In our sessions, you are the expert on your own life. My job is to listen deeply, ask helpful questions, and give you practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, or difficult life changes. We will look at what is keeping you stuck and find realistic ways to help you move forward. There is no pressure to share everything right away—we go at a speed that feels safe for you.

Testimonials

"I’ve been speaking to Louise for the past 7 weeks, and wow! There’s been SUCH a big improvement in my overall wellbeing. What I love is that she ‘gets’ the job, being a paramedic herself, so when I talk about things like lifting bags or carrying a patient out, she knows exactly what I mean.

Louise has taken so much of her time to really listen, not just to the trauma I’ve been through, but to everything that’s going on in my life. She’s introduced me to different models and ways of thinking that have genuinely helped reframe my thoughts and stop the spiral into catastrophising.

So whether it’s work-related or things going on in your personal life, get in touch with Louise. I would highly recommend her and her passion to help". LV

"I have found Louise very professional as a counsellor. Louise has helped me get through a very stressful time. She has helped me with the right mindset and gave me very professional advice. She was there for me when I needed her the most. I would recommend Louise. Thank you, Louise. I’m so glad that I found you". DG

"I have seen many counsellors over the years, and you are the best counsellor I've ever had". JB

Practice description

What our sessions are like

Sessions are designed to be calm, supportive and free from pressure.

You can expect:

  • Remote sessions from the privacy and comfort of your own home
  • Weekly or fortnightly appointments
  • A confidential, non-judgemental space
  • The freedom to share only what you're ready to share
  • Support that moves at a pace that feels comfortable for you

Many clients tell me they leave sessions feeling lighter, clearer and more grounded—not because everything has suddenly been solved, but because they've had the opportunity to pause, reflect and make sense of what they are experiencing.

My approach

My work is grounded in Person-Centred Counselling and is informed by Transactional Analysis, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and a trauma-informed approach.

This means:

  • You set the pace.
  • Your experiences are listened to with respect and empathy.
  • We explore your thoughts and feelings gently rather than forcefully.
  • There is no judgement or expectation.
  • Therapy is tailored to what matters most to you.

Where appropriate, I also integrate grounding techniques, emotional regulation strategies and reflective exercises to support your wellbeing.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a Qualified Counselling Supervisor offering Supervision to both trainee and Qualified Counsellors.

I understand the importance of Supervision in ensuring that standards, quality, learning and creativity are continually enhanced and supported within Counselling practice.

I offer a safe, reflective space where you can feel comfortable to explore your practice, develop your skills, learn and grow as a Counsellor. My aim is to support you in your professional development while helping you maintain a strong focus on the wellbeing and needs of your clients.

How I Can Support You

I believe effective Supervision supports both professional competence and personal growth. By encouraging reflection, self-awareness, and clinical insight, Supervision can strengthen therapeutic relationships and enhance outcomes for clients.

Whether you are currently in training or are an experienced Counsellor, I offer a collaborative, respectful, and non-judgemental environment where you can develop confidence, deepen your understanding, and strengthen your counselling practice.

Practice description

As an integrative Counsellor, I understand the importance of practising integrative Supervision. I specialise in Transactional Analysis and Gestalt approaches, whilst also drawing on Person-Centred principles to support a flexible and responsive supervisory relationship.

Alongside these therapeutic approaches, I work with a range of Supervision models, including the Seven-Eyed Model. My training and experience enable me to support you as a Counsellor to develop greater confidence, competence and effectiveness in your practice.

Together, we will explore and develop your ability to maintain effective therapeutic relationships, manage risk appropriately, reflect on your practice and recognise your own professional and personal needs. I will support you to develop your capacity for self-supervision, helping you to become increasingly confident in making thoughtful, ethical and informed decisions within your practice.

My aim is to provide a supportive, collaborative and reflective space where you can explore your work openly, challenge yourself safely and continue to grow as a Counsellor.
