Practice description
My approach to counselling is collaborative, reflective and tailored to your individual needs.
I believe that developing a trusting therapeutic relationship is an important part of the counselling process. I aim to provide a consistent space where you feel comfortable discussing difficult thoughts, emotions and experiences without fear of judgement.
We may explore how past experiences influence your present relationships, feelings and behaviours, while also considering practical ways to manage current difficulties.
I work with both short-term and longer-term clients. Rather than following a rigid structure, we can agree on what you hope to gain from counselling and review our work together as therapy progresses.
Sessions are available face-to-face in N16 and EN3, London, or online.
My first session
Before beginning counselling, I offer a free 20-minute introductory telephone or online consultation. This gives us an opportunity to discuss what has brought you to therapy, answer any questions and explore whether working together feels right.
If you decide to continue, our first full session provides an opportunity to explore your experiences in greater depth, discuss what you hope to gain from counselling and identify areas you would like to focus on.
We'll also discuss how we might work together, whether through short-term, focused counselling or longer-term therapy, and agree on a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I aim to create a calm, supportive and non-judgemental environment where you feel able to share your experiences openly. We'll also discuss confidentiality, professional boundaries and any relevant safeguarding considerations.
There is no obligation to proceed following the introductory consultation.

About me and my therapy practice
I'm a BACP-accredited integrative counsellor offering a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences, understand patterns and work towards meaningful change.
My clinical experience spans private practice, community counselling, employee assistance programmes and specialist perinatal mental health support. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, bereavement, trauma and significant life transitions.
I also have experience supporting neurodivergent adults and people experiencing more complex or longstanding mental health difficulties.
A particular area of my experience is perinatal mental health, including supporting individuals affected by hyperemesis gravidarum (severe pregnancy sickness), pregnancy-related emotional difficulties and the impact these experiences can have on wellbeing and relationships.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw on person-centred and psychodynamic approaches alongside solution-focused and CBT-informed techniques. Therapy is collaborative and tailored to your needs, whether you're seeking short-term support or longer-term exploration.
I offer face-to-face counselling in N16 and EN3, London, alongside online appointments for adults across the UK. My standard fee is £60 per session, and I offer a free introductory consultation.

About me and my therapy practice
I'm Naomi, a BACP-accredited integrative counsellor with an MSc in Counselling, currently undertaking training in clinical supervision.
My counselling experience spans private practice, community mental health services, employee assistance programmes and specialist perinatal mental health support. I have worked with adults presenting with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, bereavement, neurodivergence and complex life circumstances.
Alongside my therapeutic work, I have experience in safeguarding, risk assessment, multidisciplinary collaboration and supporting the development of counselling services.
As a trainee clinical supervisor, I aim to offer a warm, collaborative and reflective space where practitioners can explore their clinical work openly, develop their confidence and deepen their understanding of their therapeutic relationships.
My approach is integrative and person-centred in its foundations. I recognise that each practitioner brings their own professional background, theoretical orientation, strengths and areas for development.
I am committed to providing supervision that supports reflective practice, ethical awareness, professional growth and client wellbeing.
I am currently offering supervision at a reduced trainee rate of £20 per session while completing my clinical supervision training.
Practice description
I view clinical supervision as an opportunity for reflection, learning and professional development, as well as an important part of maintaining safe and ethical therapeutic practice.
My aim is to create a supportive, non-judgemental environment where you can bring your clinical questions, uncertainties, achievements and challenges.
Our work may involve exploring therapeutic relationships, client presentations, professional boundaries, ethical dilemmas, safeguarding considerations, emotional responses to clinical work and your ongoing development as a practitioner.
I value a collaborative approach that balances support with thoughtful challenge. Rather than offering prescriptive answers, I aim to help you consider different perspectives, strengthen your clinical reasoning and develop greater confidence in your own professional judgement.
My integrative counselling background informs how I approach supervision, with sensitivity to different therapeutic modalities and ways of working.
As I am currently training as a clinical supervisor, I am transparent about my trainee status and the scope of supervision I can offer. I also engage in appropriate supervision and professional development to support my own practice.
Supervision is currently available online.
My first session
Our initial conversation offers an opportunity to discuss your current clinical work, professional experience and what you're hoping to gain from supervision.
We can explore your therapeutic orientation, client group, supervision requirements and any particular areas where you would value additional support.
I will also explain my approach to supervision, my current trainee supervisor status and the arrangements for working together.
If we decide to proceed, we will agree on a supervision contract covering confidentiality, ethical responsibilities, safeguarding, frequency of sessions, fees and practical arrangements.
My aim is to establish a collaborative supervisory relationship in which you feel comfortable bringing both the rewarding and challenging aspects of your clinical work.
