About me and my therapy practice

Grief and change can reshape your world in ways that feel disorienting, heavy or deeply personal. Whether you’re facing bereavement, the end of a relationship, a shift in identity, childhood grief, or the quiet ache of anticipatory loss, I offer a space where your experience is taken seriously and explored with care. I also support clients navigating career transitions and periods of personal growth, especially when old patterns no longer fit and something new is trying to emerge.

My style is direct, reflective and exploratory. I won’t offer quick fixes or tell you how you “should” feel. Instead, I help you look closely at what’s happening beneath the surface - the emotions, beliefs and internal conflicts that shape your experience. Together, we explore these with honesty and curiosity, creating space for clarity, resilience and meaningful change.

Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I pay attention to what feels stuck, what feels painful, and what feels possible. I work at your pace, offering challenge when it’s helpful and steadiness when things feel overwhelming. My aim is to help you understand yourself more deeply and move forward in a way that feels authentic and grounded.

Practice description

My practice is centred around supporting adults who are navigating grief, loss and major life transitions. Clients often come to me when they feel overwhelmed, disconnected or unsure how to move forward. You may be carrying emotions that feel too heavy to manage alone, or you may be at a point where change feels necessary but frightening.

I provide a calm, grounded and non‑judgemental space where you can speak openly about what you’re experiencing. Sessions are shaped around your needs - sometimes focusing on understanding past events, sometimes exploring present challenges, and sometimes looking toward future possibilities. My approach is relational and exploratory, helping you make sense of your internal world while also supporting practical steps toward change.

I work integratively, drawing from different therapeutic models to meet you where you are. What matters most is that you feel heard, understood and supported as you navigate your process. My practice is inclusive and welcoming to clients from all backgrounds, including those who may not have felt comfortable seeking support before.

If you’re looking for a therapist who can sit with complexity, offer honest reflection, and help you explore your experience in depth, my practice may be a good fit for you.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share what you’re experiencing, what feels difficult, and what you hope might change. You don’t need to prepare anything, we go at your pace, and you only share what feels comfortable.

I may ask some gentle questions to understand your history, your current situation and what you’re looking for from therapy. This helps us decide together whether my approach is the right fit for you. The session also gives you a sense of my style: direct, reflective and exploratory.

There is no obligation to continue after the first session. Many clients find that simply having space to talk openly helps them feel clearer about what they need. If we decide to work together, we’ll discuss what ongoing sessions might look like and how we can shape the work to support your goals.
