About me and my therapy practice

About me

I offer a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, heard and understood.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting. You may feel unsure about what to expect or hesitant about taking that first step. I’m here to walk alongside you - providing confidential, compassionate, evidence-based counselling tailored to your unique needs.

Central to my approach is the therapeutic relationship itself. I believe that meaningful and lasting change begins with a foundation of trust, empathy, and genuine rapport. Practice description

How can counselling help?

Each individuals feelings and experiences are unique to them. Therefore, I believe that there is no one-size-fits-all approach with counselling, it must be as unique as the individual. Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you - exploring what matters most, and facilitating positive, lasting change that aligns with your needs and goals for well-being.

As a fully qualified, BACP-registered counsellor I offer an integrative counselling service to individuals seeking support for a wide range of emotional challenges.

While my practice is grounded in Person-Centred Therapy, I draw on a range of other therapeutic approaches to tailor counselling in a way that best supports your individual needs.

I have worked with clients to explore their experiences of trauma, neurodivergence, relationship difficulties, disordered eating, chronic illness, depression, stress, anxiety, worry, shame, anger, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, childhood abuse, narcissistic abuse, grief and loss, fertility issues, menopause, low self-confidence, low self-esteem, family issues, caregivers, loneliness, burnout, and many other complex feelings and experiences.

I have previously volunteered with various charities that help those affected by abuse, cancer, and bereavement, providing both 1-1 counselling and group counselling. I continue to build on my skills through ongoing CPD training, so I can offer a compassionate, understanding, and informed space for each person I work with.

So whether you're feeling stuck, wanting to make sense of your experiences, hoping to improve self-understanding, or facing specific challenges, counselling can help you gain clarity, process difficult emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, and create positive change in your life.

My first session

Initial appointment:

You don’t have to face things alone. I’m here to walk alongside you as you navigate your thoughts and feelings, whether they’re rooted in the present or the past. It’s a chance to see if I feel like the right fit for you and if I can offer the support you’re looking for.
