About me and my therapy practice
I am Victoria Penfold, a Psychosynthesis therapist and BACP-registered practitioner. My work is grounded in the belief that real change happens when we include the whole person — mind, body, soul, spirit, and the environments you live within. I offer a warm, honest, and compassionate space where all parts of you are welcome, including the ones that feel hidden, over-or underwhelmed, or unsure.
My approach draws on an inclusive model I developed called WholeyFit – The Soul’s Compass Method™, ensuring the mind, body, soul and spirit are all included in our work together. Alongside talking therapy, I use WholeyFit tools that include nutrition, exercise, practical life structures and financial management. Together, these areas of self-care help create greater safety and stability, support nervous system regulation and help you feel more grounded.
I help you safely explore the patterns, blueprints and survival strategies that once helped you cope, understand how they may be shaping your life today, and consider whether they still serve you now. This includes inner child work — reconnecting you with the younger parts of yourself so deep healing, repair and integration can take place.
My practice is attachment- and trauma-informed, heart- and soul-led, warm, relational and fun. Therapy can hold difficult and painful experiences, but it can also be a place of discovery, connection and moments of real joy.
For many, emotional pain and trauma live as much in the body as the mind. I support you to work with both, processing experiences and rebuilding a grounded sense of safety from which clarity, confidence and authentic change can emerge.
My role is to walk alongside you as you remember who you are beneath the suffering and coping strategies and transform your pain into something meaningful.
My aim is to help you feel more connected, more resilient and more yourself — with both compassion and structure holding you along the way.
Sessions are available in person and online.
Practice description
Sessions are tailored to your pace and your needs. Therapy with me is a process. We begin by mapping out what is playing out in your life now, exploring the patterns, blueprints and unconscious beliefs that may be shaping you. From there, we gently unpick the harm and go deeper into the experiences and wounds beneath those patterns, including inner child and attachment work.
Alongside talking therapy, we pay attention to what is happening in your body. This can include body mapping, nervous system regulation, using nutrition and exercise, helping you care for and strengthen your body to form a new blueprint.
As the mind and body begin to work together, there is more space for your soul and true self to emerge. We can then begin to use what you are discovering about yourself to create when the time is right, a compass for a life that is soul-led and consciously chosen by you.
Our work can also include practical life structures, boundaries, daily routines and financial management, helping to create greater stability and safety around the life you are building.
Throughout the process, I walk alongside you with compassion and care, offering a steady presence and support as you begin to trust yourself and the path you are creating. You will also have the opportunities to become part of the WholeyFit community through workshops, client events and other ways of connecting, because this work does not have to be done alone.
