About me and my therapy practice
I’m a BACP‑registered Psychosynthesis Counsellor based in Wiltshire. My work is grounded in a humanistic and transpersonal perspective, which means I see each person as inherently resourceful, with the capacity for growth and change. I offer an integrative approach, drawing on different therapeutic perspectives so we can work in a way that genuinely supports your individual needs.
I believe that even in our most challenging or darkest moments, there is potential for insight, transformation, and rediscovery. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and our sense of direction or wellbeing may become clouded. Counselling offers a steady, reflective space to explore what’s happening and to reconnect with yourself.
I bring a calm, grounded, and compassionate presence to my work, and I have experience supporting people with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the impact of stress. My role is to listen deeply, to be curious about your experience, and to reflect it back in a way that helps you understand yourself more fully. This process can open the way for clarity, movement, and new possibilities.
I work with adults in Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Westbury, and Chippenham, and I also offer online sessions.
Practice description
Therapy can be a brief, focused space or a longer, deeper process, depending on what you’re bringing and what you hope to explore. Some people come with a specific issue and find that a shorter period of work offers the clarity or support they need. For others, the process unfolds more gradually. Our histories, patterns, and emotional landscapes can be complex, and meaningful change often takes time, patience, and a sense of safety in the relationship.
Working together over a longer period allows trust to develop and gives space for deeper layers of experience to come into awareness; feelings, beliefs, or patterns that may have been held for many years. This can sometimes feel challenging, and there may be moments when things feel more intense before they begin to shift. With steadiness and commitment, these periods can lead to greater ease, understanding, and a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Within a supportive space, there’s room to explore the struggles you may be facing and to gently welcome the parts of yourself that are ready to be seen. I’m here to walk alongside you as you make sense of life’s challenges, grow your resilience, and reconnect with your inner worth.
Sessions are held weekly, as regularity and consistency help support the therapeutic process. Appointments are available online or in person across several locations in Wiltshire. Each session lasts 50 minutes, offering spacious time for reflection, connection, and meaningful exploration.
If you’d like to connect first, I offer a free 15‑minute call; a gentle way to get a sense of how we might work together.
My first session
Our first session is an initial meeting, giving us both a chance to get a sense of whether working together feels right for you. It offers you a feel for how I work, and there’s no pressure to decide immediately. You may have a sense at the end of the session about whether you’d like to continue, or you might prefer to take some time to reflect, whatever feels most comfortable for you.
During this session, I’ll invite you to share a little about your background and what has shaped your experience so far, so I can begin to understand how to support you. Most of the time will simply be space for you to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping for. Before we finish, there will be time for you to ask any questions you may have.
The first session lasts 50 minutes and costs £50, the same as ongoing sessions, and is paid for in advance. If you need to discuss a concession to help make therapy more affordable, we can talk about that during this meeting.
My hope is that you feel heard, respected, and supported as we begin. This first session is a gentle starting point, a space to explore whether this feels like the right fit and what the next steps might be.
