Perhaps you are experiencing issues with anxiety, depression, relationships, compulsive behaviours, sexuality, grief, anger, ADHD or neurodivergence. Together we can explore whatever is affecting you and find a way forward.
You will be invited to explore yourself as a whole person including the parts of yourself and your history that may be difficult to explore, and the patterns of behaviour that are troubling you.
I offer face to face meeting in cosy and convenient settings in North Cornwall as well as online. Contact me to arrange a free 20 minute introductory call by phone or online. This will give you a chance to decide whether you would like to work together.
Practice description
I am a registered therapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have extensive experience in the field of compulsive behaviour, sexuality and addiction, including having worked in a rehab as well as a drug & alcohol agency for many years.
My influences include Gabor Mate (Compassionate enquiry), Somatics Work (Peter Levine & co), 12 step systems (AA etc), secular Buddhism (Josh Korda, Plum Village, Triratna), Carl Yung (archetypes and roles in society) and Marshall Rosenberg (Non Violent Communication) amongst others.
I am comfortable working with issues around intimacy, sexuality, internet use and relationship difficulties amongst many others.
My first session
In our first session we will get a chance to explore in more detail what brings you to therapy and what you hope to get out of it. We can discuss any concerns you have as well as practicalities.
It may be useful to explore your mental well being and relationship with yourself over the years.
It may be useful to start exploring your personal history and background.
It may be useful to explore the patterns in your personal relationships.
