Availability

I currently have availability for new clients in person near London Bridge and online.

I work particularly with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship and family difficulties, grief, work stress, life transitions and the impact of difficult childhood experiences.

You're welcome to contact me to arrange an initial conversation and see whether working together feels right for you.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer a space where you don't have to carry everything on your own.

Perhaps you spend a lot of time thinking things through, yet still find yourself caught in anxiety, self-doubt or the same difficulties in relationships. You may be hard on yourself, find it difficult to express what you need, or worry about disappointing other people. You might understand where some of these patterns come from but find that understanding them hasn't been enough to change how you feel.

You may be someone others see as capable and independent. Perhaps you have become very good at coping, keeping going and taking care of what needs to be done, while finding it much harder to make space for your own feelings and needs.

People come to me with anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, relationship and family difficulties, work stress, or the impact of difficult childhood experiences. Sometimes there isn't a clear problem.  You may simply feel disconnected from yourself, stuck in familiar patterns, or sense that the life you are living no longer feels quite right.

Together, we can explore not only what you think about your experiences, but how you feel and respond to them. We can begin to understand the patterns that have shaped you and help you develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself, feel more secure in your relationships and have greater freedom in how you respond to life's challenges.

I also understand the pressures of demanding professional environments, having previously worked in professional services myself.

If something here feels familiar, you're very welcome to get in touch. We can have an initial conversation and see whether working together feels right for you.

Practice description

I work in a warm, thoughtful and collaborative way. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you want to talk about, and there is no expectation that you should be able to explain or make sense of everything you are feeling.

Talking and thinking together are an important part of therapy, but sometimes words and insight only take us so far. I may also invite you to notice emotions, bodily sensations, images or dreams, particularly when these help us understand experiences that are harder to put into words. My background in yoga has influenced my interest in the relationship between mind and body.

We may explore how earlier experiences and relationships have shaped the ways you learned to cope, protect yourself and relate to other people. These ways of coping often developed for good reasons. Therapy gives us an opportunity to understand them with curiosity rather than judgement, while exploring whether they are still serving you now.

My aim is to help you develop a more understanding relationship with yourself and greater freedom to make choices that feel right for you.

Having lived in three countries and cultures, I also have personal experience of adapting to different environments and questions of identity and belonging. I welcome people from diverse backgrounds and offer therapy in both English and Russian.

I am a registered psychotherapeutic counsellor with BACP and UKCP and hold a Diploma in Integrative Transpersonal Counselling from Re-Vision Centre for Counselling & Psychotherapy in London.

I offer open-ended and time-limited therapy, in person near London Bridge and online.

I work with adults aged 18 or over.

My first session

Starting therapy and sharing personal experiences with someone new can feel like a big step, so it’s important to find someone you feel a connection with. That’s why I offer a free 15-minute introductory call.

During this call, we can discuss how therapy works, what you hope to get out of it, and I can answer any questions about my approach. It’s a chance to see whether we might be a good fit and whether you feel comfortable moving forward.

If we decide to proceed, the first session will be a consultation. I may ask a few questions about your relationships and family, and you’ll have space to share what’s bringing you to therapy at this time.

In ongoing sessions, you’re welcome to bring whatever feels most important to you. Together, we’ll build a trusting relationship and find a way of working that feels right for you.

Sessions are usually held weekly, on the same day and at the same time, to provide consistency and stability.

Please contact me for availability.
