Availability

I currently have availability for new clients and offer both in-person sessions from my therapy room in Liverpool (L8) and online sessions across the UK.

My current regular availability is:

Tuesday: 6pm - 9pm

Wednesday: 6pm - 9pm

Thursday: 6pm - 9pm

I appreciate that finding a time that works alongside work, family and everyday life can sometimes be difficult, so where possible I am happy to discuss alternative arrangements.

I offer a free 20-minute introductory call before beginning therapy. This gives us an opportunity to briefly meet, talk about what has brought you to therapy, and see whether I feel like the right therapist for you. There is no obligation to continue afterwards.

If you are considering therapy but are unsure whether now is the right time, you are welcome to get in touch. I am always happy to have an initial conversation and answer any questions you may have.

I will update this section when my availability changes or when I am taking planned time away from practice.

About me and my therapy practice

I work as an integrative therapist, drawing on different therapeutic approaches to meet the individual needs of each person I work with. I believe therapy works best when it is shaped around you, rather than asking you to fit into a particular way of working.

My approach is person-centred, relational and collaborative. I aim to create a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood and able to explore what is happening for you. We can work with whatever has brought you to therapy, whether that is anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, bereavement, addiction, stress, life changes or difficulties understanding yourself and your emotions.

I am interested in both what you are experiencing now and the experiences that have shaped how you see yourself, others and the world. Together, we can explore patterns in your thoughts, feelings, relationships and behaviour, and consider whether ways of coping that may once have helped you are still serving you.

Therapy can look different for different people. Sometimes having the space to talk openly and make sense of your experiences is what is needed. At other times, you may find it helpful to explore particular ideas, develop greater self-awareness, or consider practical ways of approaching difficulties. We can work collaboratively to find what feels most useful to you.

I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is an important part of the work. You don't need to arrive with everything worked out, and my role is not to 'fix' you or tell you how to live your life. My role is to listen, understand and help you explore your experiences with greater curiosity and compassion.

I offer integrative psychotherapy and counselling in Liverpool, as well as online therapy for clients across the UK. Wherever we work, my aim is to provide a space where you can be yourself and explore what matters to you at a pace that feels manageable.

Practice description

My practice is based in Liverpool L8, where I offer in-person therapy from a private, thoughtfully designed therapy room, alongside online and telephone sessions for clients across the UK.

I believe the environment in which therapy takes place matters. The room has been intentionally created to feel warm, comfortable and personal, rather than clinical or formal. Soft lighting, natural textures, artwork, books and considered details are all part of creating a space where you can settle, feel at ease and have room to think and reflect.

I have spent many years in therapy rooms from different perspectives: as a client, a trainee therapist and now as a qualified therapist. Those experiences have shaped how I understand the importance of feeling comfortable and welcome when you walk through the door. Therapy can involve difficult and vulnerable conversations, and I believe the space around that work should support a sense of trust, privacy and safety.

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties and life experiences, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, trauma, bereavement, stress, addiction, identity and significant life changes. You don't need to arrive with a diagnosis or a clear explanation of what is wrong. Sometimes knowing that something doesn't feel right is enough reason to begin exploring it.

Whether we work together in person or online, I aim to offer a space where you can step away from the demands of everyday life and give some attention to yourself. There is no expectation to perform, have the right answers or know exactly where therapy needs to go.

My practice is grounded in the belief that therapy is a collaborative process. I want you to feel that this is a space you can make your own, where your experiences can be explored with curiosity, warmth and respect.

My first session

Before arranging a first therapy session, I offer a free 20-minute introductory call. This is a chance for us to briefly talk about what has brought you to therapy, answer any questions you may have and get a sense of whether I might be the right therapist for you. There is no obligation to continue with therapy afterwards.

I arrange these introductory calls by email, so please check your junk or spam folder if you are expecting to hear from me, as my emails can occasionally find their way there.

If we decide that working together feels like a good fit, we can arrange your first full session. This is usually a 1 hour session and takes place either in person at my therapy room in Liverpool L8 or online.

I will ask some initial questions to help me understand what has brought you to therapy and what you might hope to get from it, but we can allow the conversation to develop naturally from there.

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and to start thinking together about what you would like from therapy. You are welcome to ask questions, talk about any concerns you have about the process, or simply begin wherever feels most natural.

Therapy is a collaborative process, and there is no expectation that you need to know exactly what you need before you begin.
