About me and my therapy practice

I offer a safe, non-judgemental, and confidential space to express your true thoughts and feelings.

This is a supportive and collaborative approach that focuses on you as the unique individual you are rather than on a specific problem or diagnosis.

My aim is to see things from your perspective, to help you understand your feelings and beliefs, and for you to gain self-acceptance and confidence.

Empowering you to make choices that align with your values and well-being.

I provide person-centred therapy for both adults and young people.

I have specialist training and experience in neurodiversity.

If you want to take the next step it would be a telephone conversation, free of charge so that we can see if this feels like the right fit for you.

Practice description

I provide person-centred talking therapy for children, teens and adults.

I specialise in neurodiversity (Autism and ADHD) but work with people from all walks of life.

I welcome clients of any ethnicity, culture, and religion, irrespective of social background, sexual orientation, or gender.

I offer both short and long-term therapy, face-to-face in Newquay, Truro, Cornwall and remotely throughout the UL via Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp.

My first session

If you want to take the next step it would be a telephone conversation, free of charge so that we can see if this feels like the right fit for you.

Every client is different so the first counselling session will be about getting to know you, you getting to know me, making sure you feel safe and always going at a pace that suits you.

I will explain what you can expect from this kind of counselling and explore what you would like to get out of it.

For children and young people I will ask the parent to be present with the young person for the first part of the first session to clarify what we are doing there in an age appropriate way. I will have sensory toys, music, art and crafts and games to connect on a play level for younger children.

If at any point you feel this isn't the right fit for you or that a different approach might work better I will endeavour to point you in the right direction. What's best for you is what is most important to me.

What I can help with

Abuse, ADD / ADHD, Adoption, Anger management, Anxiety, Autism spectrum, Bereavement, Cancer, Child related issues, Chronic fatigue syndrome / ME, Coercive control, Cultural issues, Depression, Disability, Health related issues, Identity issues, Infertility, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Menopause, Men's issues, Mood disorder, Neurodiversity, Personal development, Pet bereavement, Phobias, Pregnancy related issues, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sensory impairment, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Vegan allied, Women's issues, Work related issues
