Availability

I currently have availability within my practice and aim to be as flexible as possible with appointment times. Every client has different commitments, so I encourage you to get in touch and we can discuss your availability to see whether I can accommodate a suitable time for you.

About me and my therapy practice

As humans, we are far more alike than we are different, and yet each of our journeys is unique. That’s why I strive to create a space where you feel truly seen and heard whether that relates to your mental, emotional, physical or spiritual wellbeing. Whatever has brought you to therapy, I’m here to support you.

I believe therapy is about more than simply talking, it’s about creating a relationship where you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences without fear of judgement.

As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to you rather than expecting you to fit into one particular model. Drawing from Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused approaches, we’ll work together in a way that reflects your individual needs, experiences and goals.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming particularly if you’ve spent years carrying things alone. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, stress or significant life changes, we’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll support you in understanding yourself more deeply, exploring patterns, making sense of difficult experiences and developing greater self-awareness, resilience and confidence. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you feel understood, accepted and empowered to make choices that feel authentic to you.

Every person brings their own story into therapy, and I feel privileged to walk alongside clients as they begin to make sense of theirs.

Practice description

Taking the first step towards counselling isn’t always easy. It can feel unfamiliar, uncomfortable or even daunting. My aim is to provide a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, knowing you’ll be met with warmth, curiosity and respect.

I work with adults and young people, offering online and telephone counselling to support a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, bereavement, low self-esteem, identity, relationship difficulties, family challenges, emotional regulation and life transitions.

Together, we’ll explore what’s happening in your life while making sense of the experiences that may have shaped how you think, feel and relate to yourself and others. Therapy helps you better understand yourself, process difficult experiences and develop new ways of thinking, feeling and responding. As your understanding deepens, so too can your capacity for growth, healing and meaningful change.

Sessions are collaborative and led by your needs, allowing us to work at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re coming to therapy with a specific difficulty or simply a sense that something doesn’t feel quite right, you’ll be met with acceptance, empathy and understanding.

Finding the right counsellor is an important part of the therapeutic process, which is why I offer a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us the opportunity to discuss what has brought you to counselling, answer any questions you may have and decide whether I feel like the right fit for you.

My first session

Starting therapy can bring up a mixture of emotions, curiosity, hope, uncertainty or even anxiety. That’s completely natural, and there’s no expectation for you to have everything figured out before we meet.

Before booking your first session, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. This gives us the opportunity to discuss what has brought you to counselling, answer any questions you may have and explore whether I feel like the right counsellor for you. Finding the right therapeutic relationship is important, and I want you to feel comfortable with your decision before beginning therapy.

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We’ll explore what has brought you to counselling, what you’re hoping to gain from therapy and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. There is no pressure to share everything at once, we’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable and safe for you.

My role is to provide a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you feel heard, respected and supported from the very beginning. Together, we’ll begin building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, openness and collaboration.
