About me and my therapy practice

I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is troubling you, at your own pace. I believe that feeling genuinely heard and understood can be an important first step towards making sense of difficult feelings, relationships and experiences.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on you and what you need from counselling. I don’t believe that one approach suits everyone. Together, we can explore what is happening for you, recognise patterns that may be affecting you and work towards greater understanding and positive change.

I work with adults, couples and young people aged 12+, supporting a range of issues including anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, family issues, loss and significant life changes. I have a particular interest in relationships, fertility and IVF, miscarriage and pregnancy or infant loss, as well as supporting young people with the pressures they may be facing.

For couples, I provide a balanced space where both partners can feel heard. We can explore communication, recurring conflict, trust, intimacy and changes within the relationship without taking sides or placing blame.

My style is warm, down-to-earth and collaborative. I won’t tell you what you should do, but I will work alongside you to help you understand yourself and your situation more clearly and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Practice description

I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is troubling you, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I understand that taking the first step into counselling can feel daunting, so my aim is to help you feel at ease from the beginning.

I work with adults, couples and young people aged 12+, supporting a wide range of issues including anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, family issues, bereavement and loss, fertility and IVF, miscarriage and pregnancy loss, adoption, neurodiversity and the pressures faced by teenagers and young adults.

My approach is person-centred and tailored to you. I won’t tell you what you should do or judge the choices you make. Instead, we will work together to understand what is happening for you, explore patterns or difficulties that may be affecting your life or relationships, and help you find a way forward that feels right for you.

In couples counselling, I provide a balanced space where both partners can feel heard. We can explore communication, recurring conflict, trust, intimacy, life changes or difficulties that may have caused you to feel disconnected from one another.

When working with young people, I aim to build a trusting relationship where they can express themselves without pressure. I can support difficulties including anxiety, friendships, school pressures, self-esteem, family relationships and emotional regulation.

I offer face-to-face counselling in Bromley on Saturdays and Croydon on Tuesday evenings, as well as online sessions. I also offer a free 15-minute introductory call, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and see whether you feel I may be the right counsellor for you.

My first session

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to talk about what has brought you to counselling. There is no pressure to share anything before you feel ready.

We will explore what you would like support with, what you hope to gain from counselling and any goals you may have. I will also explain how I work, confidentiality and what you can expect from our sessions.

For couples, the first session gives each partner the opportunity to share their perspective and for us to begin identifying the patterns or difficulties within the relationship.

For young people, I aim to create a relaxed, supportive space where they can begin to feel comfortable and build trust at their own pace.

Sessions are 50 minutes. My fees are £60 for individual counselling and £80 for couples counselling.

I also offer a free 15-minute introductory call before booking if you would like to ask any questions and see whether I might be the right counsellor for you.

About me and my therapy practice

Hi! I’m Jackie.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or struggling to find your way through something difficult? Life doesn’t always go as we hoped, and sometimes it takes speaking with someone outside of it all to really feel seen and understood.

I’m a qualified counsellor offering a warm, down-to-earth space for adults and young people (aged 12+) to talk freely and safely. Whether you’re facing anxiety, low self-esteem, loss, family issues, or simply want to better understand yourself, we’ll work together at your pace, with compassion and care.

I have a particular interest in supporting people through fertility issues, SIDS, and the unique experiences of adoptive parents or those navigating the adoption process. These are deeply personal journeys, and I offer a space where your story can be met with understanding and without judgment.

I believe therapy is about more than coping—it’s about connection. Sometimes that means exploring the past to make sense of the present. Other times, it’s about finding tools that help you feel more grounded, resilient, and in control of your own story.

If you’re curious about how counselling might help, I’d be happy to hear from you.

About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome!

My name is Jackie and I'm a counsellor dedicated to helping people navigate life's challenges and foster emotional wellbeing.

My passion for mental health support has led me to work with adults in various contexts, including the NHS IAPT Talking Therapy service and a low-cost counselling programme in the voluntary sector. I've also had the privilege of supporting young people in a secondary school setting, which has further expanded my appreciation for the unique challenges each life stage can bring.

My experience across these diverse environments has allowed me to develop a flexible, empathetic approach to therapy. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel truly heard and supported. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or simply navigating a major life transition, I tailor my techniques to meet your individual needs and goals.

I understand that reaching out for help can sometimes feel daunting. My aim is to make the process as comfortable and collaborative as possible, working  together to develop tools and strategies that empower you on your path toward meaningful change.

If you'd like to know more or arrange an initial session, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I'm here to listen, guide, and support you in taking the next step toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
