About me and my therapy practice

Hello!  My name is Kahturah.

I’m an integrative relational therapist offering a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy. I work alongside clients to explore what’s going on for them in a way that feels supportive, respectful, and grounded in real connection.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next, you’re not alone. Many people come to therapy when they’re navigating things like grief, anxiety, low self esteem, relationship difficulties, or periods of change. Therapy can offer a space to slow down, reflect, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing.

I provide a confidential and non judgemental space where we can explore what matters to you, including the challenges you’re facing, your hopes, and what might help you feel more balanced and empowered. My work is rooted in relational and person centred values, meaning I place importance on your unique experiences and building a trusting therapeutic relationship.

As an integrative therapist, I tailor our work to suit your individual needs, drawing on different approaches to support emotional understanding, resilience, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

Practice description

I work with adults and young people, offering both in person and online sessions to provide flexibility and accessibility. Alongside traditional therapy sessions, I also offer walk and talk therapy outdoors for those who find movement and nature helpful in supporting reflection and emotional wellbeing.

I support individuals with a wide range of emotional difficulties and life challenges, including stress, anxiety, grief, loss, low self esteem, relationship issues, and navigating major life changes or unexpected events. You do not need to have a specific diagnosis or clear reason for coming to therapy. Sometimes it is simply a sense that something is not quite right or that support would be helpful.

My practice is rooted in a person centred, humanistic approach, with an emphasis on creating a safe, consistent, and supportive space. Our work together is shaped around your needs, allowing you to explore your experiences at your own pace in an environment of acceptance and understanding.

My first session

Our first session is an introductory meeting where we’ll explore what has brought you to therapy and discuss what you hope to gain. It’s a gentle starting point in a calm, non-judgmental space where you can share at your own pace—there’s no pressure to say everything right away. This session is also your chance to ask questions and for us both to see if working together feels like the right fit. If we decide to proceed, we’ll arrange future sessions at times that suit us both. My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, respected, and supported
