Practice description
With over 20 years of experience in private practice, including roles within NHS Mental Health Services and The Priory Hospital in Cheshire, I am deeply committed to helping individuals improve their lives. My passion for supporting others is at the heart of everything I do. I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to create positive change, and I am here to guide you on your journey toward personal growth and transformation.
My Approach: Psychotherapy and Person-Centred Counselling
My approach to therapy is rooted in Psychotherapy and Person-Centred Counselling, which places you, the client, at the heart of the therapeutic process. I believe that lasting change comes from working at both a conscious and a deeper psychological level. Psychotherapy provides the opportunity to explore the underlying patterns, emotions, and experiences that shape your thoughts and behaviours, while Person-Centred Counselling offers a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental space in which you can feel truly heard and understood.
Both approaches are built on the belief that you are the expert on your own life, and with the right support, you have the capacity to make meaningful changes. By fostering self-awareness and encouraging self-discovery, therapy empowers you to find your own solutions while also working through deeper-rooted issues that may be holding you back.
I also draw on an integrative approach that includes Metacognitive Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfullness based practice. My method is collaborative, working closely with you to identify your strengths, overcome limiting beliefs, and develop practical strategies to achieve your goals. This blend of approaches not only facilitates a deeper understanding of yourself but also supports lasting personal growth, healing,

Individual Counselling / Psychotherapy - £70 / hour
Couples - £90 / Hour £120 / 90 minute sessions
A limited number of reduced fee therapy sessions are available for lower income and student counsellors undertaking their professional training - £55 / hour.
At the beginning of your first session, we will take some time to review the therapeutic agreement and the ethical framework together.
After this, the time is yours to talk about what has brought you to counselling or therapy and what you would like support with.
If you are looking for a more structured psychotherapy approach, a psychological assessment can also form part of the initial session.
