About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified person-centred counsellor with an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Edge Hill University. I have worked across diverse settings, including schools, hospitals, prisons, and community spaces. My wide-ranging experience supports me in working with a variety of clients.

I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can explore whatever’s on your mind in a non-judgemental environment. My approach shaped by person-centred and creative techniques. I also work in a trauma-informed way, recognising how past experiences can shape how we feel, think and respond, and ensuring the work feels safe and at your pace.

We can all find ourselves feeling stuck at points in life. Things can become overwhelming, or we reach a point where something needs to change. I support people experiencing anxiety, burnout and self-esteem difficulties, including when anxiety shows up at unwanted times, it feels hard to switch off, or overthinking takes over. This can often be linked to pressures in the workplace or caring roles, leaving you feeling exhausted or disconnected.

I see my practice as a space to make sense of these experiences, helping you build self-understanding and move towards a more manageable and balanced way of being.

My practice is rooted in an anti-racist and LGBTQ+ affirming ethos, meaning I am always striving to ensure inclusivity whilst remaining open and responsive to difference and diversity.
