About me and my therapy practice
I am a registered integrative psychotherapist working with adults and adolescents in Fulham SW6, Chelsea SW1 and online. I see therapy as a collaborative, thought-provoking and perspective-shifting process that helps to cultivate healthier emotional connections to yourself and to others.
I aim to help you identify and understand thoughts and emotions that may be preventing you from leading the life you envision. Within a contained, collaborative and creative space, we will explore your present experiences and consider how your past has shaped you, as well as identifying patterns that are often difficult to recognise when you are living inside them, but may perpetuate current symptoms and behaviours. We work to resuscitate your inner resources and formulate more helpful and sustainable coping strategies.
Insight is most valuable when it creates movement. Greater self-awareness can become a catalyst for meaningful and lasting change, creating greater clarity and enabling better informed decision-making aligned with your values. This clarity also opens up the possibility of healthier emotional and physical connections to your authentic self, both body and mind, and towards those you love, allowing you to move forward with a greater sense of inner freedom, self-belief and hope.
I am committed to offering a space where all individuals feel supported, understood and safe. My approach is therefore inclusive and affirming of all races, ethnicities, religions, neurotypes and LGBTQ+ identities.
In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, playing tennis, watching musical theatre and opera, and walking my dogs.
Practice description
I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist and adopt an integrative approach tailored to individual needs and preferences. This means I draw from a range of evidence-based methods and, where relevant, incorporate findings from contemporary neuroscience research to enhance the therapeutic process. This approach ensures ongoing relevance by allowing adjustments to the therapeutic plan as you progress through therapy. My work often incorporates Psychodynamic, Gestalt, Somatic, Attachment, Creative and Acceptance & Commitment therapies.
My experience across diverse clinical settings – community-based services, a psychiatric hospital and schools – spans clients aged 12–90. This extensive training and diverse experience has enhanced my adaptability, enabling me to work safely and effectively with a wide range of clients. I am particularly experienced in supporting adolescents and adults in their 20s to 40s with anxiety, relationships, self-esteem and identity, ADHD and periods of transition.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling. I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and Neuroscience from King’s College London. Additionally, I am certified in complex trauma, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and have a Level 3 Certificate with Place2Be in Child Counselling and an enhanced DBS. I have completed numerous continuing professional development courses to keep up-to-date with the latest developments, perspectives and resources in the field of psychology. I have also earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from London Business School and worked in the corporate world prior to my career in psychotherapy.
