About me and my therapy practice
Seeking counselling can feel daunting and overwhelming, especially if you’re used to coping alone or feel unsure about where to start.
I’m a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and I work in a warm, compassionate, non-judgemental way that helps you feel heard and understood.
I have experience supporting people with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma, as well as working with veterans who may be struggling with transition, identity, or the long-term impact of their experiences. I have professional experience working in a mental health crisis house, supporting individuals during periods of acute distress, and in a prison setting supporting people with resettlement challenges and life changes.
Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck or emotionally drained. You may be struggling with intrusive thoughts, low mood, anxiety, past experiences, or simply a sense that something isn’t right.
I aim to build a therapeutic relationship where you feel heard, understood, and accepted. There is no pressure to talk about anything before you are ready, we work together at a pace that feels right for you.
