I am currently able to take on new clients. You can book an initial consultation or a free exploratory call by contacting me through my website.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a therapist in North London, working with your emotional struggles, low self-worth, overwhelm, insecurity, isolation, anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, life transitions, or other issues that have their roots in your life experience.
Get a sense of me by visiting my website for my videos, posts, and more about the issues I work with. If you are unfamiliar with therapy and considering starting it, read my Frequently Asked Questions page.
I offer in-person sessions in a calm, private consulting room in London N19, close to Archway, Tufnell Park, Kentish Town, and Highgate. I recommend weekly face-to-face sessions, at a minimum. However, we can discuss other frequencies or agree to some being online or by phone, depending on what works for you.
I am a relatively active therapist, and will offer responses, challenges, and ideas. Your personal experiences will however always have primacy. I do not apply a "method" to you and have no agenda to which you need to conform; therapy is a place of safety and connection where you feel received and witnessed unconditionally.
We will attend to both your day-to-day struggles and the deeper work of understanding their origins. You may play an ongoing role in your difficulties, and I help expand your awareness of this and take better control of yourself.
Your life has been a flow of cause and effect. Much of it may feel as if it happened to you, and probably rightly so, as our agency is always incomplete. Nevertheless, we will work on the aspects of your life that you can take responsibility for, increasing your ownership of yourself and your destiny.
Practice description
My approach is integrative and broadly psychodynamic, drawing on attachment theory and relational psychotherapy.
This is shaped by the belief that the struggles you bring to therapy rarely start in the present. Often they have roots in early relationships, in patterns learned long ago, in ways of being that once made sense but no longer serve you.
Working together, we'll try to make sense of what's been driving things beneath the surface: why certain situations reliably unsettle you, why some relationships feel hard in familiar ways, why the same feelings keep returning. Understanding where these patterns come from, rather than simply managing them, tends to be what leads to lasting change.
Our connection itself is also part of the work. Sometimes the most useful thing I can offer is honest reflection on what I notice between us, dynamics that often mirror what's happening in the rest of your life.
I trained at CPPD London and Regent’s University, and have a BSc from the LSE. I previously worked as a counsellor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and at Face2Face London. I have professional supervision, full insurance, DBS, and ICO registration.
